The Great Chicken Race


Winter is slowing losing its icy grip on the lands. All across Taborea, Wabbits are emerging from bushes and burrows to enjoy the gentle sunshine. But this spring will also see visitors of a new kind – a family of fluffy chickens! As cute as they are powerful, they plan to make the most of spring and have tons of fun.

That’s why they’re planning to compete against one another… in a race!
Leap onto one of the chicken mounts and claim first place on your server.

Details on when this event takes place, as well as the rules, will be posted in the forums soon.

The Great Chicken Race

Dear Community,

The Event will take place on Tuesday, April 24th. At 6pm PST/9pm EST, starting in Reifort Camp.

Your RoM Team

Rules


  • You will have to use the "Clucky Hen" or "Clucky Rooster" to participate. If you use any other kind of mount you will be disqualified.
  • You have to pass through ALL of the checkpoints to receive your prize. If you don’t, you’ll be disqualified.
  • During the race it is allowed to use Mount speed potions and buffs
  • During the race the use of the following items and functions is forbidden:
    • Wedding Rings
    • The "Follow" option
    • Passageway Rune / Transport Rune / Portal Rune ect.
    • any other method allowing player to "teleport"
  • Screenshots and videos of this event as souvenirs are more than welcome.
  • Crashes are considered part of the show, this race is not as much about the competition itself as it is about having fun together. If you fall from your mount, just get back on!
  • Make sure to use the ""Clucky Hen" or "Clucky Rooster" with the character and server you would like to participate in the race. A 1 day version of this mount will be given out by our teamlers.
  • By participating in the event, the user agrees with the terms of the event. During the event Term of Use, Forum Rules, and/or Game Rules of Runes of Magic are also in effect.
  • The Runes of Magic Team may change the rules for the event at any time, due to unforeseen circumstances that could affect a fair result of the event.



Prizes


The fastest player from each server will win the following prizes:
  • 1x "Clucky Hen Mount (Permanent)" or 1x "Clucky Rooster Mount (Permanent)" of their choice.

All participants will also receive:
  • 1x Fluffy Chick Pet Box (7 Days)
  • 3x Basic Daily Quest Skill Potion
  • 100x Badge of the Trial
  • 30x Golden Eggs
  • 10x Universal Potion / (Completely restores all HP, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Focus)
