Runes of Magic US / AU

Well, the day has finally come!!!!! We can rejoice we are finally getting our server merge!!!! To celebrate this glorious occasion PPK (PewPewKittens for you peasants) have been busting our butts to get together an event to, not only celebrate the merge, but to do something good for artemis, reni, and Thalia :3

The Event will be taking place on Saturday Novemver 14th 2 hrs prior to seige *5pm pst*

So lets get right into the event details.

First off we have our glorious obstacle course!!! *created by Nirvasa*
A hide and seek event.
Then a wedding hall feast *ty gm's for the amazing idea*

We will be doing an obstacle course race in the PewpewKittens Guild Castle *Go out the front of the castle towards the bridge and to the right and you will find this wondrous sight*

I will also be opening the Guild Castle to the public 9pm pst (Nov 13) to the event so people can go in and practice :3 First one across the finish line will be the winner... But don't fret you fellow adventurers there are also 2nd and 3rd place prizes!!!

I know. I know. You are thinking "Oh my goodness, Faspee!!! What could be these most amazing prizes???" You just hold your horses little ladies. We got some explaining to do.

There are some restrictions to this part of the event.

Your character must be at least level 80 and please no brining your alts :< You can only sign up for one of these prize pools. If you are not signing up then please stay off the course :3 but feel free to come watch everyone battle it out. I'm sure there might be some cat fights and trash talk going on! There will also be a checkpoint so if you fall off after reaching this point, you can just run up the checkpoint ramp and resume the race We ask that you not try to use hide or invis pots to try to sneak onto the checkpoint ramp to skip the race if you haven't made it that far yet. Don't be that dirty peasant that ruins the event for everyone else :/ You will have 1 hour to battle it out for one of the 5 sets of prizes

Well, don't you worry Peasants. I wont keep you waiting any longer. Here's the prize list for the obstacle course:

1st place: HoE set *one of each set - str, dex, tank, healer and mage*
2nd place: 10 poms
3rd place: World Boss Card *see prize holders below for details*

Nirvasa has INSISTED I tell you that you need pots such as spell weaver, unbridled, and gale as it can be run either on foot or on your mount. *mumbles profanities*

For signing up for this event please click here put which set you which to race for and/or you can message or send mail to me, Faspee, ingame :3 at any time

On the day of the event I will have my list of participants for each set ready So make sure you are giving me the correct toon name that you are competing on. If you aren't on the list you cant win the prizes If you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd head on over to the Prize holder to grab your prizes

Prize Holders will be:
Maimed- str set/10 poms/blind hackman card
Lonewarrior - tank set/10 poms/ Zalkenrys Card
Magio - mage set/10 poms/ Kolanda Card
Seiska- Healer set/10 poms/ Sismond Card
Yungyeezus- Dex set/10 poms/ Taren Card


Next up is the Hide and Seek event.

Those pesky ppk peasants will be hiding in one of the following zones:
Howling Mountains, Sascilia Steppes, Dragonfang Ridge, Aslan Valley, and Silverspring

Be the first to find them and do a Trade and can get either Universal Potion, Laor Forest Tart, +20 wings *agged with Wings of the Dark Master*, Little Magic Biscuit or Egg Rice Dumplings

They will be giving hints in World Chat where they are hiding at. So good luck and pillage hard!!

To wrap up the event we will be doing a wedding hall feast with Item shop food first come first serve for this.

No time limit on registrations. you can do it right up til the time we are about to start :3

I want everyone to have plenty of time to look it over and check their schedules. We've talked about perhaps moving the start time if it suits peoples needs more but that means it would cut into siege :s and I'm not sure people want that! OR perhaps an after siege event. I was giving a rough estimate since it's a saturday.


Feel free to comment on a time shift if people think it's better
