Who's hyped for Ryzen

I have always gone with AMD systems... from the first laptop I bought to the first computer I built. I was always told that while it was a good bang for the buck, the performance could never directly compete with Intel due to amd's lower IPC rating. I can attest to this lower IPC rating as I really feel it when recording, or when my frame rate fluctuates dramatically in Siege. It's especially evident when I see other people with higher graphics settings run smoother and higher numbers on Intel. I was planning on rebuilding my computer this year and making the jump to Intel but that's when I noticed that AMD has a new cpu called Ryzen coming out. Not going to lie, but I am hyped for this.

So to all of our other Tech savy players, geeks, and computer enthusiasts, what are your thoughts on this new processor coming out?

I forgot which one I was going to opt for but one of the leaks pretty much showed that I would probably be trying to opt for one of the mid range CPUs that they'll be releasing eventually.

Back in November I got a 1060 GTX from a 660 and that was quite a preformance boost, though I've been waiting awhile to upgrade my CPU and now seems to be the time to do so by getting a Ryzen from a FX-6300, I look forward to seeing the preformance boost there too :borg:

Alright, relooked at the leak of what AMD Ryzen CPU's are going to be released and it appears I was going to be opting for the Ryzen 5 1500
