Runes of Magic US / AU

At times in the past people have asked me what cards I still need. Well, the below is my list where currently I have 1171 cards. So, if you see a card I don't have on the Reni server, send me a mail in game and we can work it out. There are 0 cards on AH at the moment that I don't already have.

Few notes first:

- I'm using the Zzabur's Compendium Addon for tracking missing cards. Yes, the addon isn't being updated anymore, but I rather like this one.
- Sarlo zone is bugged where most mobs show as having two cards. This was introduced in a patch sometime after the Sarlo zone was introduced.
- I pay cards by the millions in gold. How much depends on rarity and type. The only cards I don't really benefit from are the PA cards. So, I'll pay less for those in general.
- At some point in time I might move the unknown location cards to the appropriate location. Again, this is how it is currently listed via my addon.

Thanks for the information. I didn't validate which of these mobs could actually give a card, but assumed they could since showed up in the addon. With that said, they should probably fix it so that those that can't drop a card aren't listed to begin with.

Also, there are a few other mobs that are 1-time only per character when questing. How about put these hard to get cards on item shop during a special?

Do you farm cards on a low level alt? Or do you use your main? Do you know if level difference is taken into account for drop rate? Does anyone know how to calculate drop rate? What tricks have you found for best drop rate (honor party, pets/luck pots, etc)?

I use no special method...mostly on main is how I farm, but I buy a lot too. As for drop tricks and what not, that has been discussed in other threads.

The cards show up in the addon because they DO exist, as I believe that addon takes directly from the database as ItemPreview does.

I believe to obtain those cards that are 'undroppable' as Yrcanos described, you would need some GM assistance (or open up a card counterfeit shop )

Right.

Even if the cards do exist in the DB, they are not able to be obtained by killing the appropriate mob. So, they should either:
1) Change these cards to be listed under new mobs that can actually drop them (when new content goes out).
OR
2) Modify the current mobs to give them the capability to drop them.
OR
3) Delete the cards from the DB.
OR
4) Provide these cards in item shop from time to time.
OR
5) Provide a new NPC that can sell the card for mems, diamonds, gold, or some sort of currency.

Note - GMs giving them out shouldn't be a long term option as puts more burden on them over time. One might not even be on at the right time if they are having an event for it.

I've been around since...oh I don't remember anymore (lol)...maybe chapter 2ish? I actually prefer getting them from AH or someone COD it. I dislike farming, but will if I have to. Like you, probably got like 50% or so buying...the rest farming. :-/

Ha, nope...I didn't get those three cards yet. Kind of given up to some extent on Chuck and Jalor Agent and moved on to doing other time valued things. Any time I see a purple item in their loot...it turns out to be an Amulet of Light instead of a card.

I didn't really try too hard on Hank because of what it drops.

I do have the Black Snake Lieutenant card. IF I recall, I bought this from someone selling on AH looong ago.
