Desprate Needing help with problem with a quest.

[Investigate the Bone Chompers] trouble getting this quest done. Would anyone tell me where exactly where to place Stink Rat? The place from minimap shows where to place it, yet it will not let me place it down. Trouble getting quest done. Thank you for your time.

Should be around the area, near a pile of rocks. Should start an animation which you must follow a chupura to complete the quest

The area to place it is frustratingly small, but it can be found. Unfortunately, you have to be almost on top of it, if I recall correctly.

But it is a distinctive pile of rocks. It is also, just off the trail, where it splits, one route going south to Dorris, the other continuing on to the Kalon City. Facing the Kalon City it is on the left.
