Tanking Classes

Are there any other viable tanking classes other than knight, even if its not the greatest are there any that are still passable, maybe ch/x or w/k or something? thanks

W/k does not have the means to generate enough aggro to be a goo tanking class. They are an off tank at best. Warden/warrior is a decent tank as well as dps. Their single target aggro is insane, but their group aggro leaves something to be desired. Also they are very mana hungry. Champ rogue is the best champ tank, but almost all champ combos are decent enough to tank ifstatted right. Warden scout is also a decent ish tank. Just can't wear plate. And in the highest instances they don't do that well tank wise though.

Wd/w is still very much a viable tank combo. Unlike the knight, they are more of an agro tank than a mitigation one, requiring higher dps to build and maintain agro. They do also have the option to wear plate if you so chose. The real reason there aren't more of them (anymore) is the elites - k/w has AD which gives a short party buff to damage while the wd/w has feral leader which is only a self buff. None of the k/x combos does amazing dps so if you have a low dps party a wd/w might be more beneficial. It all really depends on the group you run with and what their capabilities are.
