"Unknown Iron Rune Dice" and "Charged Iron Rune Dice" From the Crafting Festival

I've never heard anybody mention it in over 5 years so I'm gonna ask. During the crafting festival one of the items we are asked to make or make to level our Blacksmith is the "Unknown Iron Rune Dice" All the "UIRD" that we make say "Try throwing it to see if it contains magical rune power.

After throwing several of them, I had one turn into a "Charged Rune Dice" which says "You can have good luck if you throw them and get the same picture 2 times in a row. When thrown, it tells you what the 2 rolls are. If different then nothing happens and I wait for the 30 second Cool down to expire, but if I roll the same on both tries, It gives me a 3 minute buff.

The buff says: Rune Dice Luck - You feel like today is your Lucky day" and has a countdown for the 3 minutes.

I'm curious if anybody else has messed around with these dice, are these 3 minute buffs actually real and worth keeping and if so approximately how good is the buff?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I only see one buff like this which is the one you listed: rune dice buff - 100% droprate bonus for 3 minutes.

Sounds like an easter egg.

Never had an Easter egg but if this is a buff that people think is worth having then you may want to have your BS to level #35.... or get it to level#15 and just wait and do L-15 to L-35 at the festival since it will be sooo much easier there.

Also both the Unknown Iron Rune Dice and the Charged Iron Rune Dice are "Bound" so perhaps you will have many Level #35 Blacksmiths too ;)

Is there any way to tell if the buff really changes my drop rate? I'm guessing not but there are so many things that I do NOT know so perhaps...

You could try testing with and without droprates of some common items. With only three minutes to do it, that may be tricky.

You could also level a housemaid to give you Potion: Lucky Target that does the same effect but lasts two hours.

Yep "we" all have maids with the Lucky Target ability but this 3 minute Rune Dice Luck buff stacks on the Lucky Target buff.

just to let u know my test with the dice, it works for increased drop rate, but it fails to proc every time so the cd u get about 3 increases an hr. i used to carry it with me now it just sits in a chest in my house, to me its not worth the bag space.
