Lack of mats from nodes?

Any other gatherers notice lately that as often as not nodes are only coughing up 2-3 mats?

I know it's kinda random, and it's likely just my rotten luck, but for the past couple weeks now when my toons gather (any toon I run goes with gathering all 3 types) it seems at least half the time the nodes only cough up 2 mats or if lucky 3 when prior to this getting 4-6 was the norm and less was on the rare side.

At first I just thought it was due to lack of maint to reset them but we had a maint and it's still happening.

Now I'm curious if it's just me.

I'm not seeing the same problem. There have been times that I only get 2, but it is the exception rather than the rule. I usually get 4 or more. I have seen no change since I first started playing in December of 2010

So it may just be me then.

It's still happening. At least half the time I get 2 mats and that's it, the node poofs. It's happening on at least 4 toons of various levels in different zones on 2 different accounts of mine, including a new toon I just started running a bit.

It figures... something I enjoy doing and it gets messed up on me.

Recently got my mining to 100. I get 4-5 on average in Korris. Sometimes I only get 3, and rarely do I get 1 or 2.
