Auto loot shows up disabled

I have a problem since I started the game that it will auto loot everything from the monster except for quest items. For those the loot window pops up and I have to manually click on them to get the quest items. I tried to go into controls > Auto loot to check it on but it appears ghosted out / disabled and unable to click on it. This is a bit frustrating atm to click on each quest item rather than loot everything. Any help regarding this? maybe I am overlooking something? Thanks

Easiest way to deal with it would be to get an addon called LootIt. Otherwise I know I have toggled that auto Loot setting ingame menu before but can't remember what all I did or if it was not greyed out at all.

Usually when you have a looting addon installed it will disable that checkbox.

I do recall lootit or lootomatic having an option about looting quest-items somewhere
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.
