Just because it is there, does not mean you have to buy/use it.
I've basically been sticking with +12 for a while now.

You need something like 80 gems to have a remote chance at actually getting +30 (statistically speaking....flukes and UBER lucky ppl fall into that 0.000096% )...In otherwords for a weapon you're looking to spend well over 8k dias, for a "decent CHANCE" to +30 a single item. This would require an absurd amount of dias sales to do en masse, since some items will use hundreds of gems (unlucky) to get to 30....

52 jewels... just over 5k dias... and still cant get past 24... ended at 23.... I am honestly not sure +30 is possible.

GM's will either not even forward our concerns or they'll just never come back with a response from the higher ups.

Yeah, them useless GMs, right? They don't ever forward feedback or bug reports or suggestions. And we for sure get coherent and timely responses from our overlords that we then can't be fussed to display for you.

Bah humbug.

In reality, we usually get either unhelpful resposes like 'it can't be changed at the moment' and 'we have no eta from developers' OR frustrating ones like 'we presented community feedback to the boss of CoMas but they didn't warm to the idea(s)' and/or 'not now, maybe later, probably never'. Most of these, we cant even share. Its not unusal to get no clear answer. We do ask our management to reply themselves and they sometimes do, usually when there's rare good news like 'fix incoming'. On the other hand, Polog tried to even demonstrate that she takes our notes to be forwarded higher up, and you saw how that went: "HURR HURR she wrote it on a postit note, no wonder nothing gets done around here!" Was it supposed to be carved into steel or woven into a basket or somesuch? I dont blame them for not poking their head up often, even if I don't like it much.

For your zillion unanswered questions in dead threads? We can't give what we don't have. For this thread in particular, and why haven't the GMs been chatty in it? There's not much more to say. Every point in this thread which asserts that the new jewels are a terrible idea was already given as feedback as soon as we knew +30 was incoming. It's bad, yes, we don't need to convince the players of that. If the decision makers are bent on driving the community off a cliff, there's just no real barrier your team can build to prevent it. We tried.
Yeah that's why I'm not worried about people getting +30 stuff anytime soon.
...

Please.... don't put effort into +30. The reality of the probabilities is horrific. Pick some plus number past which you wont bother to go, and stick with it.

well i am Canadian and i just looked i can buy on a non sale 460 dias for $26.97 Canadian dollars..................... cant even buy 1+20 jewel for almost $30 bucks.
looks like most of us up here will just quit rather than spend any money here.

+30 wouldn't actually be 'possible' or feasible in dollar values, regardless how much money you have IRL ahah

Take it as praise or insult, but you all sound like teamlers today.

Pretty sure we will see perfect 30 jewels in the wheel in a month or two. They're just letting people sink thousands of diamonds on a hope for now, then once people accept the impossibility, they'll introduce perfects in wheel so that the same people will then readily spin it and repeat the cycle.

You misinterpreted my statement for the most part. I might've not phrased it correctly, but I think it becomes clearer if you include the rest of my post instead of just one badly written line.

Most of these, we cant even share. Its not unusal to get no clear answer. We do ask our management to reply themselves and they sometimes do, usually when there's rare good news like 'fix incoming'.

That's what I tried to say. I was calling out the people in charge for not giving GMs useful information to pass on to the community. I've said it before in other threads. Maybe this time I was so angry I didn't make enough sense, I don't know. I know you never come back because you never get a straight answer for them or the typical "we can't let you talk to them about that". This is assuming everything you guys say is true of course. I know GMs aren't in charge. You guys are literally glorified Customer Service Representatives. Shields to take all the shit from the playerbase for the people in charge.

Yet, there's still times when you guys don't answer questions or forward suggestions. Or at least that's the most educated guess with the information we have. We have no way of knowing whether you guys passed an idea unless you actually post on that thread something to that regard. It's just frustrating. Bad news is better than no news.

Thanks, sincerely. But that's just my point. They, whoever that is, don't give a flying... eh.. cactus?

For the time being we are unable to share any plans, since it is not yet sure that will happen with WoF and if it'd return.
Their mainly used as a way to obtain stones, but since we offer them now directly in the Shop, the purpose of WoF is obsolete.

If you have any suggestion in that form it can return, please share your ideas - and they do not necessarily have to be "put +30s to milk us more". ;)

Why is there always a catch with Greedforge? People asked for +20's in the IS and to scrap the wheel. That's implemented, but they also add +30's.... WHAT THE HELL MAN? Stop making it more costly to gear. The game's economy is stagnant af already because it's so costly to make an endgame piece of gear that it's so difficult to upgrade. And when you finally do upgrade, your "old" piece of gear cost so much to make that even pricing it at a fraction of the price that it cost to make it still too much for midgamers to buy.

Endgamers are now statting as perfectly as they can when they upgrade and just upgrading every 5-10 levels when their gear becomes too obsolete. That's bad for the economy in general. But that's what we have to do because upgrading is too difficult and costly.

This is what is killing the game. Too much RNG. I've stated this before but think about it. What does it take to make a new endgame piece of gear?

RNG for a specific item to drop from the boss
RNG for said item to drop OD (depending on the item, sometimes it has to be high OD too... e.g. Plate, Magic Wand, Dagger)
RNG plussing with few "checkpoints"
RNG wheel for +20's (THANKFULLY REMOVED)
RNG pulls for stats (Shell, EoJ, PoM, HP) or drops from HM(which sometimes are broken e.g. Triumphs in IBP and Demons for several caps)
RNG Happy Hour sales (there's no way they're handpicked) to make the gearing as cheap as possible (think Purified Fusion Stones and Transmutor Charges)

Sometimes people are sitting on hundreds of millions of gold, even billions... thousands of diamonds... and they still can't upgrade. Language, folks  How does Gameforge not realize this?

B/c they dont play the game and understand the struggle. Our GM's and FM's may play the game, but to the higher ups in the company, we're all just numbers on a graph.

GF needs to take a page from Lars Koschin, the former CEO of Frogster back from when they were the publisher. They actually played the game, listened to the player base, and had better transparency. At least that's been my experience with them.

I relax and play it as a game.
Four years ago, I realised I was almost treating RoM as another job. So, I gave that up and I've been having a much more enjoyable time playing ever since.
