New ISS's

I'm nub again from being gone for a year or so.

It would appear (for mage anyway, I can't speak to the other classes because I don't play them and don't care) that a vast majority of the new ISS's are just slightly stronger versions of the set skills I already possess from previous gear?

I think the only different one I saw was like Shining Mage or something which does light damage. I don't recall a previous light damage set skill.

Would that assumption be correct?

There was a thread on the ISS's when they came out. If the search function actually worked, I'd dig it up for you, but as you are interested, you can try looking for yourself.

It's in Technical notes subforum. They have the skill codes so you can copy them from that post & paste them in the game so see the effects.

Oh right.

That's like right when I went M/W main and gave up on M/K so I didn't care to get tosh stuff.

I wonder why mages consistently get screwed over.

I heard basically every other class got useful new ISS's and then mages got barely stronger versions of every ISS we already had.

Sigh. #mage4life

Yea, in quite a few cases the new ISS' are too good, and help to make or break the class. Quite silly...

Heard there were some pretty outstanding invisibilities in pvp for other classes pertaining to The new ISS's as well.

I should just go M/K again and light damage like a pro

classes with good iss got better since most of new ones are just upgraded versions of olds, but classes which had bad set skills(mage) didnt get anything cause upgraded version of old ones are still garbage. if you play for mage you will be disappointed cause set skills are not even the only bad thing about mage
