Returning but still new & have questions

I've been playing this game on & off for several years now but have
quit several times because of frustration and/or not understanding the
game much. I'd like to get more into this game and have some fun with
it since I'm really bored of other MMOs I've been playing. I have a ton
of questions though. Please keep in mind when I'm asking questions
that relate to class or combos I don't like the looks of the dwarves so
playing one is out of the question.

  1. In terms of a healer, are druids the only "go-go" healers or can priests do a good job too?
  2. In
terms of healer combos, what pairs well with a druid and a priest?
I've read some things about druids should be a warden & I believe a
warrior or scout for their third slot but are those mandatory? What
    about priest?
  3. If I wanted to make a good tank, what is a good class & combo to make? Are knights good or would I need to do warden?
  4. For a melee dps, are rogues any good & if so what's a good combo for them? And do rogues get any stealth ability?
  5. Are scouts viable & what's good to pair them with?
  6. I
would like to make a caster but read somewhere on these forums that
casters are in a bad state right now. Is this true? If not, what combo
would you recommend to be paired with the mage (seeing how that's the
    only caster I'd like)?
  7. Is there a way to make the enchanting
past +1 NOT fail or give a 100% chance to do it? I'm tired of spending
gold/time on those enchanting things only to get a+1 then the next one
fail which brings it back to a +0?
  8. I remember a long time ago
that there was this leveling pathway zone that you could go to and it
would give you massive amounts of exp and level you rather quickly, does
this place still exist & if so where and when can I go there?
  9. Are wardens the only pet class?
Thanks for your help folks. Much appreciated!

  1. 99% yes
  2. Druid/Warrior and Druid/Warden (PvP)
Out of the terrible PvE healing of Priests, I think Priest/Scout is the best. Priest/Knight (PvP)
These classes that people should be are not mandatory, but a Druid/nothing could solo heal an endgame instance. There's no point in not picking the secondary that gives your DPS a boost in order to have a higher margin of error and clear more efficiently.
  3. Knight/Warrior. Haven't had Wardens tank endgame for us in a looong time.
  4. Rogue/Mage seems to be right in the middle of the pack in both burst and sustain. Jack of all trades, master of none kind of deal.
Pretty sure Rogues in this game have the most busted Stealth from any game. You can click it on and have it forever until it's lost through casting or taking damage. You also have like 2 skills to force you into stealth even while in combat.
  5. Scouts are good. Got a massive buff in the past year or so. Scout/Warden and Scout/Rogue are the ones to go to.
  6. Casters were fine up until the Blood Arrow buff. Fights either are too short or too long for a caster to do well I believe. Mage/Warrior would be the one to go to either way.
  7. You have to use the Item Shop items. This is a microtransaction Pay-to-Play/Pay-to-Win game depending on how hard you go. The only salvation is the fact that other people can pay for you in exchange for your gold.
  8. Coast of Opportunity? I think you open that zone by leveling to 10/10 and open the third class option at the same time.
  9. Technically. Mage/Scout has a pet but it's useless.
