Are siege wars competitive now?

Thinking of coming back. Siege wars are all I really care about. I always found rolling over people/getting rolled over to be boring, but I liked competitive siege wars when I played when there were plenty of people to fight.

So, is it competitive where the top 10 or so guilds are all able to have a decent fight with who they might be ranked up against?
How many guilds pull 20+ (without alts)?


Anything else I should be made aware of?

Also, they went with "Aeterna" and not "Aggropit"?

There isn't even 10 active siege guilds.
Unless you count the sieges that are more like 3v3 arenas in a siege map.
Seems like people have moved on to siege in EU, still seems populated enough there for a real siege.

That is a shame. Was hoping merger got clans to group up more and have more people. I logged in and I saw a lot of people and guilds and I didn't recognize, but also quite a few I did. Hm.

Seems they are sending most traffic to EU. When I searched Google to find the new location of these forums (haven't logged in for a few years), all I could find were links to the EU site. Took a bit of hunting to find the US site.

We'll see what I find when I check back in 3 more years...

The current top guild is Knightshift, they got a lot of the old PPK and VVV players. They are followed by Corruption and Kinkywarriors, both of which have beaten Knightshfit occasionally. All three of those guilds come into seige pretty full (though i won't speak to how many may be alts). The next 2 are Serenity and Aurora who are pretty evenly matched, though no match for the top 3. They usually come in with between 20 to 30 players. Sometimes Soulhunters makes an appearance with fewer players but still pretty strong. After that, yeah, it gets kinda sparce; though at 2AM there are 10 or 12 guilds that sign up whom I know nothing about.
