Warlock Main?

With the lack of warlocks (specifically wl/m) running around, i was thinking about maybe jumping over from dps to take up lock and main it because I do enjoy it alot but is it really worth maining it when it can just be played with no gear by someone while playing another character? Am I better off swapping to tank or heals? The dps grind is getting kind of bland so I was curious on some opinions, thanks team, appreciate the love, see you out there <3

a real wl/m player is always going to be more desirable then an alt, assuming the player wont wipe the party from inability.

ir used to be fun for me then all of a sudden i was told well wl doesnt really need gear so you cant get any stats or gear from runs.
i believe this was causes more from lack of a general player base than from any real reasons other than magical classes have just been neglected for to long.
les and less runs for me and i just dont have the want to log in and try anymore.
for me i was fine with sharing gear and stats with any other magical class , as i was willing to earn my own gear and stats from runs but to be told flat out "you cant even roll on gear or stats because your class doesnt need them" was just the final straw.
i do miss playing with the friends i made here but i will not just be a pay to win player.

It is really sad that they told you this. But, at some point you have to ask, are these people really worth running with if that is the way they treat others? Personally, I have quit raids when they insisted on loot rules I thought were unfair. W/e, I'm sure I was easily replaced, but you know, idc, don't need the headache.

Meaning, some people playing "Alt classes" are worse than a macro'd alt... Not killing a boss because a REAL person doesn't get silence off on AD is dumb. I'd rather take an alt if it means I'd have a better chance at clearing.

Some? Sadly the majority of players that play the "alt classes" (k/p, wl/m, m/wl, ch/p) are worse at them than the good players running a macro'd alt.
