I though i mention something about this in the "cleanse and usable equipment" section. Perhaps I should edit that section to make it more clear if someone is already missing it. EDIT: changed the section header and added in a little more information.
i'd talk about all the multitude of ways to get out of stun/root/fear, as many people i face go "my (insert stun/root/fear) didn't effect you!!! HAXX!!!" when i took precautions to limit/dispell the effects of such debuffs...
There are ways to significantly increase healing done on gates (d/wd briar shield), ways to reduce dmg done to gates including dmg received from scrolls (mother earth's protection, heroic guard (?)), hp shields that can be placed on gates (high-energy barrier c/m), and even 5s magic immunes (warlock defense net). There are TONS of ways to protect against scrolls, but they require the right timing to be used. Perhaps I'll mention this somewhere.
Wait no. Im totally grumpy about scrolls and torandos. Not that im saying people hack, but i pereferd it when you could beat down a gate with players, and atleast the opponent had a chance to out heal the damage. Scrolls just wipe things out.
Also not cool with not having crystal extractors anymore becaue now there is no resonable way to silence a guild full of mages. I want my lightning towers back plz.

I think all the people writing here have been called out on hacks or whatever, loll. It happened to me last week just because i would die with 6 of them on my back, just because i'm a K/S doesn't mean i can't kick arse in siege loll. Most of the times i do except when Cloak is there lolll, he gets me everytime hahahaha. Against TSF i had some of the most memorable sieges, lots of fun and i died a lot ;-) BUT IT WAS FUN!!!!
I still feel there is some kind of program at work, so rogues beware xD

Actually, if it was R/M, that makes sense. R/M does have a ranged (Aoe I believe) that works very similar to T-storm, and I think BB has a macro that allows it to only cast if there is a target there to hit. No idea about K/M.I can kind of see how mage can spam ts with macro yeah, but 2 ppl who mostly did it are k/m (think it was mage, def k) and r/m. Both don't exactly have spamable area dam with 200 range ala ts.
I am not knowledgeable in regards to these items. All I know about is the 30min cd "dismount" item whose name I cannot recall. If someone wants to post information on them, I can add them in.Send me a PM when you're more or less done so it can be sticked in Game Guides then ;-)
Personal suggestion: might want to add the crafting festival items, i see some of them having short-time usefulness in siege.
Holy text wall!Maybe im a Noob, I understand the stacking of speed buffs, etc and herold skill to move fast, assult time / battle time scrolls, thats no problem as all of those skills have a cooldown and a limited time, but i have seen several guilds that are in the process of killing the guard on the A tower before your gale and mount can get out of the castle. If thats not enough sometimes by the time you make it to the b side mid tower they will meet you there. There are some people you can watch in siege and they never slow down. They are fast before the herold buff, longer than the pots last and yet can still outrun a mount and gale at any time during siege even if they are in it solo. So this basically means they will fly across any trap you have, you wont be able to hit them as they run past you due to minor bits of server lag. Strangly enough maybe its a client glitch (i do have rom loaded onto at least 7 computers) , but when i kill fots and eyes they take 3-4 seconds to stop working and disappear, when they hit them they are just gone. So now lets combine this with the people using auto comabat, you know the ones that can stop attacking the person in front of them and one shot the rogue that just came out of hide behind them with an attack that only hits one person (non aoe etc) and then go right back into combat with the first person in a matter of a split second (something that is not really humanly possible) and also not manage to target any other person near them? One of my favorites lately has to be the mages that seem to not see gates or walls since they can t-storm your castle buildings and destroy them while outside the wall. Someday maybe they will even fix the gate heals so that every gate doesn't need a d/wd casting briar on it in order to have a chance at healing it (seems like it meets the criteria of using an exploit as i'm sure that the use of it on gates was never intentional)..However even with all these thing's a good siege against people that actually use their own skills and not have everything macro'd/DIYCE/etc is still a fun way to waste an hour. If i were to try and improve it i would do away with some of the speed buffs so that the traps could do their job (and make it so traps died based on the number of hits), Also i would slow down the LUA scripting for addins to one line a second during siege so that we could see some real skill in playing, not programming and maybe after that we could really see who are the hackers and who is really skilled.
