You must not know that HoE first boss and CoE HM 2nd boss don't have strat and are burn or die. Soooo yea. It's more like 'fix strats or die'

I wonder if K/S will be the new main tank, and you just use it to perma stun all adds in boss fights.

Holy Chains is not a stun. Anyways, with all the AoE's going around I don't think that's going to be easy to accomplish. Frantic Briar, Illusion Blade Dance, Whirlwind Shield just from the top of my head. But now if K/S is a thing and people can use 2 Hatreds the bad tanks won't be QQ'ing about needing 3-5s headstart on aggro and DPS won't get blamed for their ineptitude.

Basically an all around dumb move. Who was complaining about AD? And to go so far as to completely destroy the usefulness of it by making it 3 seconds.. god sometimes I feel like Runewaker just hates the playerbase.

One step forward by buffing scouts (Which remains to be seen if it even does anything since their out of burn dps won't be affected nor will siege war performance), and two steps backward by ruining K/W.

GG Gameforge/Runewaker. GG.

This wouldn't be such a big deal if some bosses didn't basically require burn or they're impossible. Way to make endgame even MORE impossible than it already is.

Have you not? lol I haven't even logged on since the patch. In the past, we tried to find strats but to no avail. Haven't heard of any 'fixes' either.

Well instead of playing the blame game onto everything etc, just blame the endgame guilds who were running hardmode with 6 people or less and 6 to 12 buff alts outside the instance.

I played K/W and could see the advantage of it but the disadvantage too, a few yet again spoiled it for 95% of the community, thx a lot.

Not sure how a few spoiled it for everyone.. Nobody "abused" k/w. K/W was one of the only reasons some of these newer ridiculous instances are even possible. It remains to be seen whether CoE can even be cleared without it. Thank god we already got our HoE sets cause that instance is probably nearly impossible now.

Yea, don't blame the developers who designed the instances to be 90% burn or die and 10% strat or get nuked.
Don't blame the developers who reduce buffs/debuffs to durations that are barely even noticable to people who aren't running diyce.
Don't blame the developers for the amount of frame dropping that goes on during the buff the **** up for this 10-15 second fight, you should just expect lag, must face target and low framerates!

Blame it on the players bringing the same buff/debuff classes that every guild should be using! Just because they might be playing more than 1 char at a time too! Man those are the wily ones, how dare they bring in classes that no one else seems to play as their main class!

Total sense right there.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

Firstly, if these endgame guilds you speak of only take 6 players in, why leave the 6-12 alts outside? jsing.

Also, the last 2 threads I read, including this one you complained and blamed gf/rw for messing things up for the player, so when you chose a argument, try to stick with it and you won't seem so ridiculous every time you make a post. As for your hate of endgame guilds, without them, a server fails. I've played in the lowest guilds, to the highest. People are people no matter what guild they are in, meaning the fact that you constantly judge people on their choice of guild or game play is just downright wrong. As for endgame guilds being needed, go play on Indigo, and try to tell me that game play is just as easy on that server as a server that has a fully endgame guild. You always mention how people are allowed to state their opinions, and frankly, though that may be true, the conclusions you come to should still contain some kind of support, instead of your constant bashing and wild theories. You always throw people under the bus complaining that they are the reason this game is failing. Take a look in the mirror, your constant hatred and disrespect is EXACTLY what ruins a community, and without a solid community, this game becomes nothing.

@Shinyruh- But those buffs don't affect magical damage ;(


To the actual topic which these threads are created for, imo, this does hurt mid-game guilds the most, because the k/w gave them that extra boost needed to kill certain difficult bosses without clear strat. There was no need to nerf it, if anything, 5 seconds would have been enough.

I have never seen any threads asking for K/W nerf. Not the first time they randomly nerfed something that nobody complained about though... Sometimes I feel like they just randomly pick classes to put a nerf on just for giggles... lol.

Iirc you can still use items (foods/pots) while Holy Chained. Also it breaks on dmg received. Unless it has its own, it's closer to a helpless (e.g. Shadow Prison) than any other debuff category (Root/Stun/Helpless).

Can you use foods and pots while in a Static Field or been Frozen by a Priest/Mage?

Anyways on topic, cutting the debuff duration by more than half seems overboard.
