There has to be a lot more than just 500 people that have not gotten their chest ticket answered. Many of us also have lots of CS items too. A guildy of mine had over 5000 diamonds worth of attribute purifiers, drillers, etc. To buy only the stuff in there that is in AH would cost me 5k-6k diamonds as well. Several others items in there were things like phirius 'E' pots, badges of trial, etc. I submitted a new ticket a few weeks ago about what I would accept in compensation, but that is ignored as well.

Given how you have fulfilled promises in the past, no package you give will compensate even close to the losses of many of the players. My guildy even had a screenshot of her stuff and she did not get her stuff back.

I would suggest in addition to your apology package, you give everyone all the bank spaces permanently. As far as I know, stuff has never disappeared from your bank. But who knows, RW may code that bad too and we lose our bank stuff.

I have already put this game on the back burner. I used to be the quest and title leader of Osha and now I won't even do the new festival anymore even though there are roughly 10 new titles to get. I never even fought Thysdyr in the last festival because I was only doing the basics of the game. Why put a lot of time into a game likes continues to disappoint me?

I am just hopeful that this mess is FINALLY cleared up. I lost 4 chests from 4 characters on Sept 19th. And I STILL am. I don't really understand the problem i guess, cause those same characters were victims of the hackers that hit alot of us last year I logged in and ALL my characters were naked in front of AH they sold everything from house, bank, chests and characters. I contacted a gm and within a week he had EVERYTHING back! But now just 1 chest is this big of a problem! It boggles my mind. lol

I can only say that I am overjoyed at seeing CM's communicating with us for the first time.

I hope this will become something that happens often in the future.

To the OP with regard to Siege Wars:

Your statement is long overdue.

The primary cause of community unrest and the spreading of disinformation is SILENCE by representatives of Runewaker (for example: YOU) as to the status quo of ANY major game function that is dysfunctional or broke.

There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for NOT posting a status quo update to the community when siege wars completely broke this past and prior week and users could not even enter the instance. Lack of communication to your customer base results in frustration and Runewaker loss of income. The community leaves and quits the game, because while this is a FREE TO PLAY game, in all reality this is one of the MOST if not THE most expensive game to play on the market today. It is little wonder that your community quits when they throw money after a game that they ARE paying to play, and get little to zero communication when something goes amuck.

Yea, you personally are not at fault. Maybe your hands are tied due to company policies, as far as communication is concerned. No one expects you to promise them a pie in the sky or give us false information as a carrot to hold out in front of our noses.

What we DO expect is an honest statement of where the game is at, what expectations are TRUE and an UPDATE IMMEDIATELY when things go wrong and Runewaker has NO CLUE when anything will be fixed.

Without a steady dribble of communication to your player base, this game will bleed out. Once that happens, you may as well acknowledge the game is in suicide mode.

Fun of working with customers...

I would say that rescent 2 days whole game improved a lot, from communication to the game itself. (I did qq that client did not crash in crashanis last night - unpredictable, isn't it?! :D )

But still, I like the trend... :)

Open and truthful communication is always apreciated if not by all of but at least by the majority that know how hard it is to get things across. The language barrier between su that speak english and those from Tiawan is one of the major hurdles that must be jumped to get a lot of things done. And a lot of times what we say and what they hear may be different due to the language barrier. Nobody if perfect, and it is refreshing to see Frogster admitting that they have had some problems.
Now if we all would understand that Frogster is doing their best to grant all our wishes. We jsut have to have patience and a williness to wait for a bit.

Thank you so much Silberfuchs for posting this. Thank you thank you thank you.

I know there has been a lot of QQ in this thread, and that's to be expected, and much of it comes under the heading of "taking your lumps." But it is wonderful to see you here taking them, taking responsibility and communicating honestly.

For me as a player, it is more important to see the game's management acknowledging problems honestly than ignoring them, even when you can't do much to fix them, like with Siege's Beta status. Knowing that there are people paying attention makes a huge difference in my confidence level.

As to siege war, I know that there isn't a whole lot FIA can do if Runewaker is unwilling or unable to write code improvements. Letting us know this honestly is better than promising us fixes that you can't deliver. All we as players can do is continue to send in bug reports when they occur in siege and let you know how important siege is to us. FIA I am sure has passed that info to Runewaker- past that there's not much that can be done, unless you can perhaps organize us all to go protest outside Runewaker's offices in Taiwan, which would be highly entertaining, but probably not that effective.

As far as the missing chest issue goes- that was terrible timing, and I understand. When a company is reorganized, records and data are frequently lost, and FA and FIA did things differently, so picking up their pieces and cleaning up their mess must indeed be a huge headache. That said- this issue should have been addressed long long ago. There are many many lumps that need to be taken over that issue. Those packages need to be rolled out to the affected ones ASAP.

As far as the Aeria issue, it's not something literally anyone can do anything about except Aeria.

They may not be the answers we wanted to hear, but they are answers, and for that I thank you Silberfuchs.

Please keep the lines of communication open like this, it will make a huuuge difference in the community's morale.

All I got is, why the CS price increases?

And an observation, logic dictates, no one is talking about Areia Games which tells me an IP block is eminent. If any one thinks they are going to buy regions and just let them keep playing here you're out of your mind.

As long as the reimbursement bundle includes 1 Leather Bound Chest for each character who is missing one, I personally would not care about the rest of the bundle. Anything else would be gravy...long overdue chalky gravy, lol.

I'm interested to know how they will reimburse thousands of diamonds lost to those heavily affected players. I have higher expectations given the EU team's integrity, but I would not be surprised to see the bundle include only a few cheap CS items for those players. It would be similar to using a bandage on coma patient. Good intentions, but no substantial alleviation.

Thanks for the much needed attention to the US servers. Yes we had seom GM's and CM's as well as mentors but really nothing was conveyed in a timely manner. Ever since Frogster EU took over it has been better not fantastic as I think we all understand all of the EU community and US community must be a lot to handle and getting all of the old issues from the US side didnt help the issue but back on topic THANKS for the information on what has been happening with regards to siege war and the missing house items.

Great to see issues being addressed & acknowledged =)

But I highly doubt only 500 are still missing chests... I bet that means 500 accts not 500 characters.

Sad to see that the database is no longer accessible. I don't know about anyone else but I had to suffer thru them asking me approximate dates I had originally acquired items, went thru about 5k screenshots on my pc & laptop trying to figure out all that mess... I got so tired of looking that I only gave the dates of items in 1 of my 5 characters' chests. The other 4...omg, headache mostly coz I move stuff around & visit my alts houses & store things there & sometimes I'll mail stuff to my alts instead of throwing them in an alt's house chest. Just to end with this result is pretty sad, but I understand I'm not the only one affected with the waste of time spent trying to narrow down dates on 5 dif characters' chests' items. ='( So far only the character I listed acquired dates of missing items got the chest & 3 of the 20 items back with the other 16 OD gear prolly no hope in ever getting back even though I spent time trying to search for dates but no luck. The 17th missing item was a tiny stack of 6x 100k XP orbs from the Owenstein/Naga Dog Tag event... told them I got an orb every single time the event occurred & was saving them for a dbl xp event or whatever hence why I didnt feed my alts those orbs yet...but still have not gotten anything, & I was pretty sure those would've been the first item to be sent back coz it could be checked due to the server having to keep track of there only being 25k exchanges per day but guess not.

Think I would be more upset if I had put CS items in the chests, but then again, u can always buy CS items being available 24/7, whereas OD gear takes forever to loot, and is beyond overpriced in AH to even consider buying. Ugh.
