Thank you so much Silberfuchs for posting this. Thank you thank you thank you.
I know there has been a lot of QQ in this thread, and that's to be expected, and much of it comes under the heading of "taking your lumps." But it is wonderful to see you here taking them, taking responsibility and communicating honestly.
For me as a player, it is more important to see the game's management acknowledging problems honestly than ignoring them, even when you can't do much to fix them, like with Siege's Beta status. Knowing that there are people paying attention makes a huge difference in my confidence level.
As to siege war, I know that there isn't a whole lot FIA can do if Runewaker is unwilling or unable to write code improvements. Letting us know this honestly is better than promising us fixes that you can't deliver. All we as players can do is continue to send in bug reports when they occur in siege and let you know how important siege is to us. FIA I am sure has passed that info to Runewaker- past that there's not much that can be done, unless you can perhaps organize us all to go protest outside Runewaker's offices in Taiwan, which would be highly entertaining, but probably not that effective.
As far as the missing chest issue goes- that was terrible timing, and I understand. When a company is reorganized, records and data are frequently lost, and FA and FIA did things differently, so picking up their pieces and cleaning up their mess must indeed be a huge headache. That said- this issue should have been addressed long long ago. There are many many lumps that need to be taken over that issue. Those packages need to be rolled out to the affected ones ASAP.
As far as the Aeria issue, it's not something literally anyone can do anything about except Aeria.
They may not be the answers we wanted to hear, but they are answers, and for that I thank you Silberfuchs.
Please keep the lines of communication open like this, it will make a huuuge difference in the community's morale.
