I do remember at the time, most of the reported chests that were lost were not reported at the time of the incident but a while after it had occurred with no real indication of when it started. That was one of the main reason as to why a roll-back did not occur to fix the problem because even with the tickets that said "I LOST MY CHESTS" didn't give enough indication to when it occurred.

Problems like this could not be fixed in the most appropriate time frame.

And what about people that had screenshots of their chests? What's the excuse for not giving them their stuff back? Hell if they had pictures of what was in it there's no excuse.

There's really no excuse for how terribly this whole fiasco has been handled, and I don't see a little package putting it to rest unless the package has some really amazing stuff, which I doubt.

This chest problem will probably go down in RoM history as nearly as aggravating as the Anniversary Diamond Fiasco.

Not all tickets were taken out when the bug hit, this is true.

But this is also because we had HUGE SCROLL BANNERS FROM FROGSTER TELLING US NOT TO TAKE OUT TICEKTS! ;)

People were told to "stop spamming support". IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SPAMMED BY TICKETS THEN FIX THE PROBLEM. Everytime there's a problem the answer is to "send a support ticket". What really happens is "send a support ticket that we'll never answer".

no no no... Im saying on Osha, there were literally scroll banners going across the screen saying "please do not take out a ticket, it is a known issue" within hours of the chests disappearing. The same scroll banner system that blasts us with festival info, short term sales, and marriage announcements.

Someone behind a frogster desk knew when this problem happened, and within hours was able to set up an in-game scroll banner urging players not to take out tickets.

So to say someone at Frogster was unable to pin down "when" this problem happened seems a bit far fetched...

Yeah, and to use the fact that tickets were taken out later as an excuse for not knowing when it happened it just idiotic. You TOLD us not to take out tickets. Someone obviously knew when it happened and had a scroll banner for it, so how can you sit there and tell us you have no idea when it happened?

The handling on this issue is just.. sad.

TunaShake, I know you are a mod and not a GM/CM and that you are just trying to help, but this may be one topic to stay away from if not given *exact* info from Frogster/Runewaker. I also you that you do a difficult and thankless job for no pay (I'm not sure if you should be applauded or commited for that). This is just a undifensible, festering, gaping wound. Every time anyone posting in green or blue addresses it, it gets worse. We just see one "theory" after another that doesn't jibe with what we know to be true. I was in and out of my house crafting and watched my chest dissapear. I posted my first ticket in the old system moments after it happened. I also know the rules for both of the support ticket systems. I have never had my tickets answered and I have not heard of anyone on Osha that has has their issue addressed since FA went away. I just think it is best to leave this one alone if there is no concrete info.

I am only repeating the facts that were stated at the time.

I understand some of you are extremely frustrated about this issue, I also know that you have been asked to be patient and to wait a bit longer.

However, this announcement is a clear indication things are going to get better ... Don't forget that support cannot only use screenshots to verify that you had those items in your chests. I know that at the time of the incident ... (I think it was Swag?) who commented and stated that there were people attempting to abuse this incident to get an advantage and slowing down the ticket responses for all the people.

This incident was bad, some mistakes might have happened ... but it is getting better.

I had a guildie who, the day after we were reassured that the problem had been found AND fixed, lost 100m out of his storage chests. Because they went missing.

Next time my husband gets sent on a trip to Germany for work, you guys at FEU will be hearing from me. In person.

No matter what goodness we post there is always at least one answer going toward the “and what about the chest items that I lost?” Going straight forward: there are about 500 of you folks that are still waiting on the items being returned. The reason for this is that due to the massive amount of time that went by our Customer Care cannot reimburse those items as the database cannot check back that far.

But that’s not the end of the line. We’re working on a reimbursement bundle for these troubles. The details as to when these bundles will become available and how you will obtain them will be disclosed as soon as we have all the information confirmed and tested.

How will you know who was affected? When this all started I put in a ticket for 1 stack of 1,000 Phirius Token Coins and some other items that are meaningless at this point, though there was a loss of millions in gold replacing the items. As requested in a reply to my ticket, I held the spots the coins and other items were in open for a long time and finally gave up on it. Of course now that the old support system is gone there is no proof, that I am aware of, for our early claims.

Yep.. same fail thing they did before when we were promised a package.. wasn't even a package. And those reset tickets not only did you have to be on to get them, they only lasted 24 hours so you couldn't save them for another time.

If it's as fail as the last reimbursement package don't even bother. You'll just piss people off even more.

WTF! If you are going to release a product to the public, at least take the common courtesy and responsibility to MAKE SURE IT WORKS! I'm tired of all this waiting around for you guys to fix your broken functions. Hirer a tester and TEST YOUR BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN PLAY. SW is pushed back an hour to see if that 'fixes lag'? That's bull and you know it, people have jobs and school in the morning and SW is already late as is for most. Be a functional company and gives us what you promised in the first place! No one wants to sit and read all your apologizes and reasons for why you failed to deliver. And another suggestion: SERVER TIME. and have a nice day.

Last time we received a "oopsie daisies!" package it had a whole lot of nothing in it. To be honest pretty much anything from the item shop that isn't a stack Purified Fusion Stone, a stack Grand Golden Repair Hammer, or a stack Perfect of perfect +12, +16 jewels won't be worth what I had in my chest across my characters, but that's just me.

Honestly I think Frogster would be safer off not giving anyone anything if there are a bunch of vanity pets, castle transport runes. I know I'm not looking forward to the rage that will probably result on the forums....

Agreed. If it's just full of nothing then don't even bother. It's not gonna help anything giving us a little crap package that has nothing useful in it and is nowhere near the value of what people lost.
