[Follow up] Reimbursement Bundles

Dear Runes of Magic Community

To follow up on our previous statement:

No matter what goodness we post there is always at least one answer going toward the &#8220;and what about the chest items that I lost?&#8221; Going straight forward: there are about 500 of you folks that are still waiting on the items being returned. The reason for this is that due to the massive amount of time that went by our Customer Care cannot reimburse those items as the database cannot check back that far.

But that&#8217;s not the end of the line
. We&#8217;re working on a reimbursement bundle for these troubles. The details as to when these bundles will become available and how you will obtain them will be disclosed as soon as we have all the information confirmed and tested.

The bug itself has been fixed since a while so you should be safe to use housing chests again.


With today's maintenance we have implemented the reimbursement bundles in our database and our support staff will now begin to deliver said bundles to all players who still had open tickets in our support portal concerning this issue.

As explained before, our logs do not reach back far enough to verify the exact lost items and to return all those items in identical way, for which we apologize. We have created bundles of valuable items to reimburse you for the losses.

Our support staff members will now work through the remaining open tickets concerning this issue and deliver these bundles to all affected players. This procedure might take a couple more days before it is completed, so please be patient if you do not receive your bundle within the next hours.

If you need further assistance once you obtained your reimbursement bundle, please contact our support again and they will gladly try to assist you further.

As said before, the bug itself has been fixed and you should be safe to use housing chests again.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your incredible patience in this matter. We hope the bundles will help you to continue to enjoy Runes of Magic with your friends and guildmates.

^^This. At one point, Swag specifically instructed players NOT to open tickets. I opened one anyways, but you've likely left a lot of players out in the cold if you only compensate for those who had tickets in.

its been so long that i kinda dont care anymore, in fact i feel extremely jilted that it has taken so long for you guys to return our stuff to us. Alot of us lost alot of things that we used diamonds to buy, for example on one of my accounts, the missing chest was full of my item shop runes i was saving to make a tank. Its kind of a slap in the face that its been months (so much so that this is like my 3rd or 4th time posting ever and its just a complaint) and yet still most of us dont have anything back, while i appreciate the "effort" its more of a "too little too late" type of thing, i just accepted ill never get my stuff back and moved on. In other words *rage rage rage*

Can I assume people whose Tickets have been closed should re-open a ticket?

I assume that if a ticket was closed, a form of reimbursement or refund took already place? So if the support was able to refund or reimburse you already, you do not need to re-open your ticket. If the ticket was closed for other reason and you have not received a form of refund or reimbursement, yes, please re-open your ticket if possible or file a new ticket request.

One ticket per account is sufficient.

this for me also.

My main was semi-retired while I worked on collecting gear, stats and weapons for it while playing my other toon. I'd play other toon, when I saw something for sale that would work, I purchased and sent it. Typically once every other week I would log in, and collect gear from mail and throw it in a chest for storage, or puri and stat gear for wearing.
One week after following the lost chest discussion for a while, I logged in in and was missing two chests, found them empty and unplaced in house storage.
I have no idea of what all was in them, all I know is that they were all nearly full, and I was planning on doing the finishing touches that week to get out and playing again, but I was back to square one with no gear......

We should submit a ticket to replace unresolved tickets from the old system?

I no longer know what armor items were lost, but I still am missing a stack of 1,000 phirius tokens. I got a reply on the old system a long time ago saying to keep the spot open, I finally gave up on that and used the spot.

Well I was going to submit a new ticket but after seeing the compensation you guys are giving not worth the effort. Be prepared for a storm coming your way. One of the items is a 5 space storage shest to replace a 20 space chest and outdated plussing jewels. FAIL.

If the above post is accurate (ill see when i get home from work) then I will start to explore other online gaming options.

The primary reason being, to deny an entire server equal housing storage that is provided FOR FREE to every other player on every other server in this game would not only be an insult... not only an outrage... not only a provocation...

Well, ill save the rest of that potential rage for when I lay eyes on it myself.

So I lost 2 pieces of HD GC HM gear that was cleaned and +12 and 14 stacks of Egg Rice Dumplings that I got in a paid for package with diamonds and you want to give me back this garbage that won't even be used. I can do Siege once and get more EXP/TP items than this. You have really lost the plot Frogster.

i think this reimbersment package is a load of crap..i lost adv bind lifters.. perfect adv jewels..asp stones..stats and gear ..and they couldnt even send me my 20 space chest back..really..a 7 space chest..please people this has got to be the worst case of taking care of your customers that helped put you where you are......i for one have been playing this game since the beginnig and feel this is about as low as you guys have ever gone ....
