I lost a male mannequin for gear with some blue and purple gear on it, i didn't filed a ticket for it. The only thing i am sad about is one of my guildie picked up some beastman set and put it in his chest. He was getting stats to put on it and use it. But that was so long ago that i lent him my old statted beastman set.

Now he doesn't get his chest back and gets crappy gift, if he gets it. Even if he would have gotten his stuff back, it took so long that it would be outdated and not worth 1/5 of what he paid on AH for it. Sad situation, sad rewards and now you'll have even more bad press.

Why are you guys doing this? What you give away is virtual things. They don't exist, not tangible. Just make right to your real PEOPLE that play the game. Less tickets, less unhappy players, less workload for you guys. Stop shooting yourself in the foot with this.

I'm not sending a ticket for my stuff because it is not worth it. People take more time getting mad at Frogster than playing the game now, this is a game to have fun. Put an end to this, please.

well all this negative feedback i for one was pleased to get perfect lvl70 plussing jewels even if they were only +6ers. and its a 7 slot chest. happy camper here.

Dionaea... Thank you for forwarding on the complaints. However, speaking for my guild on these forums, we no longer believe that our concerns with this game and the hardship we've suffered through 5 months of poor customer service on this matter are being taken seriously by those that have the authority to make change in this game (aka however far up the ladder it goes after you forward it on.)

I would say its akin to speaking to a brick wall, except the brick wall does not insult you consistently by dangling your lost item in front of your face asking you to give it money to get one back... then claim reimbursement is something 1/4th as useful as what you lost.

You all have had 5 months to get this right. Should we expect to wait another 5 months before this matter gets handled properly?

Why?

* What is going to stop the people who didn't lose anything from submitting a ticket and claiming they lost something? I'm sure a decent amount of people have done this already. There are a few honest people out there, though. You claim you don't have any more logs, what's to stop me from claiming loss on all three of my toons even though I didn't lose anything?
* Some people lost a collossal amount of stuff. You're giving them $80 (maybe?) for some of them that have lost upwards of $1,000 worth of stuff. I mean, yeah, you're giving something back, but I would have just opted not to give anything out, it would have prevented everyone from complaining as most people have just considered the losses and moved on to a different game (or just accepted that their stuff is lost forever. Now the folk that have waited around to try and get something are insulted at what they got.

It may be free to play but alot of people spend alot of money on this game me included I lost my chest along with many plussing stones I had bought from Item shop that cost me RL money so yea those who spend money on this game just to have there stuff they paid for go poof and never get in back have every right to complain.

OK this my last post on this matter, I consider it over with and will lick my wounds and continue or move on. There are not many of us veterans left playing and I think another mass exodus is going to happen real soon. I don't know who you have calling the shots, making these reimbursement packages and putting up the stupid weekend sales which only last a couple hours, but I want to personally thank them for destroying the best MMO I have ever played and making my decision to go to another game easier.

Considering that everytime we log in we agree to a EULA (just like every game) that indicates we own nothing and that Frogster is not liable for replacing anything that is lost for any reason.

I'm glad that the new group covering America is now doing something about this long standing issue.

Even if we only get 1 diamond out of it, that is more more 1 diamond than we have agreed to have them responsible for.

That said, if you are going to reimburse for losses it ought to be generally considered reasonable to the typical person that incurred a loss. For example some mentioned the 7 slot chest they were given, a 20 slot chest is not a game changer in any way, costs Frogster nothing and most everyone would say "Sweet, a 20 slot chest". A few would see fit to complain that they have to expand their house to use or find other reasons to complain. So be it, you can't make everyone happy. A 20 slot chest is worth expanding if you need to, a 7 slot isn't.

Your point remains valid, but for the sake of accuracy on this topic, the people who have received reimbursement packages thus far have mostly received only a 5 slot house chest.

Seriously should have sent them all 1k LOCKED diamonds, Saying we can't figure out what you lost but this is to replace it. This thread would have turned out much different. THEN you throw 150% diamond sale and some of those people would still buy more diamonds. Follow it with a double XP weekend, drop daily tickets on sale and their 1k diamonds vanish in a few hours, then throw a 200% sale and you're all of a sudden the greatest company ever and you make money hand over fist.


Meh...what do I know. Okay Froggy no more unpaid consulting for you. FYI did you know the 500% diamond fiasco people who never bought before bought just to see what everyone was going crazy about on the servers. Sometimes the most outrageous things make you the most money and create the most buzz.

I've done the calculations. I lost over 1000 diamonds worth of gear, and that's before you count the perfect plussing gems, perfect advanced plussing gems, and master armor drillers that were bought with rubies and tokens. Add in that I have been heartily IGNORED for over half a year now (those who are talking about this happening in November...my ticket in the new ticket system dates from September of 2011, and I had one in the old system before that) without even the simplest response to my tickets. I think I'm deserving of some fair compensation for real life money that I paid in to the this game, only to have my purchased items lost/deleted through no fault of my own.

We aren't talking about me accidentally discarding or vendoring something. We aren't talking about me buying the wrong thing. It's not a complaint on the failure rate of plussing gems or anything else. I've given up the gear I lost as a write-off, but the real life cash I spent on diamonds is worth the replacement of those items or diamonds and I will accept no less.

I've recontacted support (although they still didn't even bother to give me the crappy compensation package yet) to let them know I am not happy. Does anyone think they'll even answer THAT communication, let alone give me what I am owed?

How are they even giving out these packages anyway? I have not gotten anything in my backpack or the mail yet. It is just as well. I am taking a long break from this game starting tomorrow. ( I gotta make sure all toons have their mail.) Then I delete the game and forums bookmarks and go away for a few months. I will check back after that time, but I really do not expect the game to be any better.

The only thing that was keeping me here anymore was my friends. My guildleader and 1 other went to another game and I followed. The others in my guild decided that they were going to become a shadow guild now and are hopping between guilds for easy siege wins. I refused to go and I got demoted in rank. Any cheater is not a friend of mine and that is exactly what a shadow guilder is; regardless of what frogster says about it. I think they just allow it because they have no way to stop it.

My new game is a lot more fun, it works, you do not pay for power, and customer service actually helps you when you have a problem. I spend 8 hours a day there now and I do it because it is fun; not because I have to get as strong as possible.

BTW, I saw what the package gives and I already have more than enough supplies of those that I will never need it.

EDIT: I got an e-mail today and got the package. It will remain unopened in my item shop bag indefinately because it is worthless to me. I will never play another frogster or runewaker game again. I am glad I did not spend a fortune on this game, only small amounts for my personal use.

For the sake of accuracy, there is more than one package being given out and several of us have the Platinum Package which gives a 7 slot storage chest and Superior Charms, but this is still just garbage.

Simple answer! A script could be run to check who still has the original free chest. Then, look at the join date. It's a sure bet that anyone that doesn't have that free chest & has played for a reasonable time has lost something. Very few would have had empty chests.

That alone would have justified the replacement of a 20 slot chest. The rest of the compensation package is justified as an apology for the extended delay.

It should all be about the generation of goodwill. Goodwill that this package fails to create.

Maybe This Is A Wake Up Call For Where You All Decide To Invest Your Time, Money, And Energy. IMO If Your Gonna Invest Money Into A Game Better Spend In An "Well Established" Subscription MMO Or Went A System Based Game Like Your 360, PC, etc... After All RoM Is FTP (Free To Play) So Don't Have High Expectations, Or Worse Feel Entitled YOU WILL BE LET DOWN.
