Chrysalia, the once proud home of the true dragons still retains the harsh natural dominance that it was once feared for. Now home to the Kulech, they too have mastered the harsh elements of this region.
The sandy winds blow into your face as you cross the gorge before you. Not even even the tales written down in the history books compare to the vast crevasses you see before you. Thank Ayvenas the Alliance built these bridges. Just as you near the middle the bridge, you almost lose balance as the winds rise even higher. It’s as if the very land is against you. You hold back your fear and continue. Nearing the end of the bridge you see a cliff with no other means onwards, so you begin to climb. At the summit you pull yourself up only to find a bunch of slain humans atop a pile of wood and rope…. The ones who have been making the bridges. Your jaw drops as your eyes shift to the expanse in front of you and start noticing the land shifting and...Scurrying? No, it is not the land, your eyes focus as you see before you a sea of Kulech. Their ant-like bodies, pincers and mandibles lashing at each other. Your heart pounces; this was not a good idea. You have to head back to camp and warn the others. As you dart back to make your way down, you notice from the top of the cliff that the bridge is no longer, the ropes cut from the far side and what can only be two Kulech scurrying away. A noise grabs your attention back to reality. You are trapped and more Kulech are on their way. It’s over. Drawing your sword you prepare, but you realize it’s futile. Entire Alliance parties have been wiped by the Kulech, what can one person do? The Kulech are in front of you, mandibles dripping and pincers glistening in the sun.
You pray for a swift end….
