Hello Rommunity!
It has been brought to my attention, that in the past couple days we had an impersonator on our servers, pretending to be me or a GM member of the RoM team.
I would like this opportunity to point to our
Account Security announcement:
Remember, we will never ask you for your login or password information. We will not send you e-mails asking for that information. We don’t need these details, as we have different tools in order to help you. If you are ever asked for your login details, please inform us immediately of this incident, since it would mean somebody is trying to access your account.
If you are approached by someone saying he is a GM, please keep that in mind. If the GM uses a familiar name, such as mine for example, please double check the name, as it may contain weird letters or accents to pretend to be the real deal. As example:
Díonaea vs. Dionaea
Impersonating a GM is a serious violation of our terms and conditions and will be dealt with accordingly. If you are unsure if you were approached by a real GM, please contact one of us via PM on forums or our support staff so we can investigate and take the needed steps.
Never give your accountname or password to a character claiming he is a GM.
We will never ask you for that information in game!
