Do you remember our "The end of the world is near" event? Well, the end of the world has arrived!

Eve helped the beggar up and led him towards upper Varanas. His eyes went unsteady from here to there from her to the passengers. Time passed. Finally Yarandors Eyes cleared again, washed and in fresh clothes he looked like the leader he was again. "The prophecy!" he shouted. Eve looked at him, startled "So it will come true?". Yarandor nodded slowly. "If we can't defend ourselvers, yes. Go Eve, go. Help them, assist them, support them in any way you can." Eve hurried out to Varanas Bridge again. Yarandor unfolded a parchment, reading it out half loud:

When the Twelfth Night is near
And the world comes to an end
All hope dies, forlorn the dreams
Beware taborean child, beware!

Fire will fall from the clouds,
water will rise to the sky,
air will turn to sulphur
earth will only be waste land.

The stillborn will return to claim shelter
That the demons once denied
What lives will decay, will spoil
When the world comes to an end.

The "End of the world has arrived" Event will include a lot of monster appearances. To ensure that low level players will survive, low level zones are free of additional monster spawns. In all other zones and on all other channels it can happen, that you'll face large amounts of evil monsters with only one goal: to kill you. This can lead to equipment repair costs and death debt. If monsters appear you'll be notified via a scrollbanner. Northwest of Varanas Central Plaza, at the big crystal you can find the Master of Absolution, who will take away your debt one time a day. In addition you can find Eve and her companions, collecting runes in exchange for food for your adventures. All NPCs can be found only at channel 1, starting the 20th of December and until the 27th of December, provided the world will last (the debt removal NPC will be placed as soon as the first monsters spawn).

Make sure you can see our broadcasts, because I heard rumors that some servers will already be overrun by monsters at some point today

(The servers in question will have the Debt NPC getting placed once the monsters appear, while all other Event NPCs and the Debt NPC will be placed on all servers tomorrow after our maintenance)
