I bid thee farewell, Taborea

Hello RoMmunity,

It is with a laughing and a crying eye, that I announce today to you my leaving.

I look back at great years of working as a Moderator, Support Member and finally CM for one of the best communities a MMO can possibly have. Lots of adventures and challenges lie behind me, and lots more ahead of me.

Starting as of today, I will not be working for Runes of Magic and Gameforge anymore. I did not make this easy for myself, I can assure you that, but some challenges that life has to offer one simply can not refuse and as my former colleagues would confirm to you, I always had a problem to say "No" ;)

I want to thank you for the great time I had and the honor of being your CM. And while we may not always have been able to agree on some points, your feedback and input was driving me to help to make RoM a warm home for everyone and a joyful place to be. I may not always have succeeded in fulfilling all wishes, but the year has just begun and the CM who takes my place will continue to work together with you great players to keep the dream and adventure of RoM going!

So without much further ado, let me answer the most important question for you: who will take my place.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce CM Cernunna to you. She will be your new CM and eyes and ears on forum. She is a great gal with a very big heart who will with no doubt in my mind continue to listen to you and collect your feedback and spent time with you and take over all the open tasks I leave behind.

At her side will be her shiny knight in spider armor, Nenysvor, and of course our wonderful mentors Kalvan, Dellenn, Tunashake, Zavod and Pandora.

I was recently looking for new mentors as you recall and have forwarded all applications from you that reached me via PM to CM Cernunna and you will hear back from her soon in regards to your application.

If you recently sent me a PM which I did not get around to answer (for which I apologize) please contact one of our mentors or CM Cernunna instead.

What else is there to say?

I will miss you, each and every one of you! I will continue to keep my eyes on forums as a player and lurking shadow and I will stay in touch with my former colleagues to whisper in their ears until they throw frozen cotton balls at me ;) I have all confidence that this wonderful community will continue to grow and life prosper.

May the coffee bean be with you all.

Well this game is going to hell, now Dionaea leaving, my heart is broken in 1000 pieces ;-( cries heavily in the corners of our round room. Now for them to close down the servers and tell us, we are sorry not worth keeping the server alive. This is how you put a company in the ground, Gameforge style.

Well Dioneae leaving, no more diamond buying with real money for me, Gameforge you really have no clue.


Dionaea, tyvm for all the help you have been and your patience, no one will replace you, EVER!!!! you were the nicest person in this company. Good luck in your future endeavor, they will be lucky to have you with them ;-) DIONAEA STILL ROCKS wherever she will be!!!!!!!!!!

Dio, you will be so, so, so sorely missed, you don't even know. It was an honor as well as a pleasure to work with a person as dedicated, kind and compassionnate as you. We all know (and actually I think the other CMs even more than the players ;)) how much you cared for the communities you were in charge of.

I can only wish you the very very best - but actually I have no fear: you will have it, because you just rock that much.

While I assisted Dionaea, I forwarded reports too. A reporting shows of course less emotions, but can show your wishes quite plainly.
Yes, we will really miss her as a wonderful person, but you get another which take care of your feedback like her.

Dionaea your going to be missed greatly by the player base. Even those of us who were frustrated with the management of the game never questioned your willingness to go to bat for the player base. Those CM's you leave behind have huge shoes to wear "do the floating flowers even wear shoes?"

Yep have spoken with Cernunna alot recently both in game and on the forums. Not trying to take anything away shes done a great job settling things on the AU server at least.

Dionaea, Nytefall and Karma were all very voiced and active people and will be missed.

I'm going to miss having Dio around--I'm not going to have someone to bounce kitty pix against anymore. :(

It's been a real and true pleasure to work with you, Dio, and whatever happens, may the light shine upon and guide you. Please stay in touch and let your former cow-orkers know what's going on. :D

Having said all that, I've chatted with Cerunna and Nenysvor several times, and they're really good people. They know their stuff inside and out. We will also have Quannah dropping in every so often, so we're in good hands.
