Earlier this month we announced the arrival of reinforcements to help bolster the US community. Several new staff members jumped onto the forums including myself, Dionaea and Rodatas. We promised to improve communication between the European and American side, plus bring about some cool new changes for the American community.
We have already begun to globally synchronise our news updates to ensure that you get the latest news hot off the press. We’ve also taken measures to boost response times on server maintenance news updates, to help keep you informed.
The next step we’d like to take is to focus on our forums. To kick things off, we plan to implement a newer version of our forum software, vBulletin. The upgraded software will bring some new upgrades to the official forums, including:
- Improved functionality
- Additional formatting options
- Simplified user interface
- New avatars
Over the next two weeks, we’ll also address the forum structure, and implement a brand new Bug Reports forum, where the community will be able track progress on bug fixes and have direct contact with our Quality Assurance team over here in Europe.
