A small note regarding optimizations during our previous maintenances

Dear players,

you may have noticed that our last few maintenances have taken quite some time to complete. The reason why we have been performing these maintenances is to optimize the performance and stability of all RoM servers.

We have over 100 servers running for RoM and are continuously optimizing our hard- and software infrastructure. This includes adding new database servers, operating system updates and, of course, increasing performance through upgrading RAM and CPUs on the new servers.
We are more than half way through our current optimization process – the next maintenance will be shorter since in this one we only perform minor optimizations.

We kindly ask for your support and understanding regarding these measures – in the end they will help improving Runes of Magic!
