I woke up early this morning in order to travel to the main square in Varnas so that I could buy some equipment for my journey.
When I arrived I noticed that something had changed; all the small fluffy bunnies had disappeared!
Instead of them, there were many strange visitors in our town.
Even stranger was that one was definitely a ghost of some kind, but something was different about him!

New activities in the city delayed my journey for few days, but now I can finally set off. I traveled to the most remote part of the Wailing Fjord where as I heard, a new entrance was discovered recently. After entering I found myself in deep jungle and swamp filled with ships wrecks. Ghosts of sailors were wondering around aimlessly. Knowing that I cannot hold my ground against these unnatural creatures, I decided to find a safe place. It was lucky that I didn't have to search for too long, next to the swamp I found the Creaking Wreck Tavern that had everything a good adventurer could need.

After a few drinks, and a sleepless night at the tavern, I wandered into the Temporary Archaeological Camp. Archaeologists working there took me on the “grand tour” and showed me the unusual cultures living nearby and also some prehistoric creatures. Our first stop was Mezzmillo's Domicile, but we didn’t receive the warm welcome we expected… Our next stop was Behemoth Peak – I can only imagine that a creature deserving of this title died here. At the end of the day we visited the homeland of the Xabu tribe in Tapatapa Gorge. They are the natives of this land and they worship a mystical spirit in the form of stag and gave it the name "Papowaka", which in the Xabu language means "guardian". They also offered us shelter for the night.

Many days have passed since I wandered to the new lands; in my travels I’ve discovered new hidden places in Taborea both exciting and dangerous. I’ve spend this time by taking part in several festivals, but my inner call for adventure started to stir and I cannot sit still.

I once again packed my travel bag, travelled to Jungles of Hortek and venture to the most remote part of this wild land. Suddenly I’ve noticed that the edge of one of the mountains had collapsed revealing a hidden path.

Exploring this path, I finally found myself in place called Salioca Basin. This land was so much different to the Jungle of Hortek. The first thing I saw was the Black Nest of Lowlands, it looked like a nest of some gigantic insect…On my way to nearest “Genesis” camp, I have noticed strange ancient structures.

After the short rest in Genesis camp, I decided to venture further into the Jungle of Irunia – this was truly a wonderful place, but I quickly discovered that even the plants there were quite dangerous for travellers. While escaping from them, I ended up near the Emerald River and found a shelter for the night in the nearby cave.

I woke up the next day and noticed that the cave I slept in had three gigantic trees growing inside it. These trees formed a home for numerous strange and wonderful creatures. Without delay, I grabbed my equipment, left the cave and went back to the road. The road took me through the mountain to the Walu Village. The tribe that lived there has a unique legend saying that they were brought to this place by a mythical creature called the Ravine Rainbow Condor, and a single feather from this bird was enough to bring eternal wealth and happiness.

When I departed the village I rejoined the road that led me to a place called ‘Water’s Tutelage’ and a gigantic waterfall filled me with awe. I didn’t notice anyone, but the place looked as if it were holy ground, used regularly for rituals for some sort.

On the way back to the Genesis camp, I found a small road in the Jungle of Irunia. It led me to a place called the ‘Crypt of Eternity’. Behind the collapsed walls, I saw a magical portal leading to a new area, but accessing it would require many days work. I decided to head back to Varanas to gather adventurers to help with the task of reaching the portal!

These old bones are getting rusty, it's time to give them a stretch and venture into new lands again. Knowing my experience from previous journeys, I have carefully choose my equipment and prepared myself for any possible danger.

During my journeys in the new zone called Kashaylan, I have met many travelers who just as me were curious about this uncharted land so I decided to join their party. Our first destination was the nearby Emerald Swamp and Lightning Falls, where we found a big crystal structure and monument to some holy creature.

In a nearby cave we found some lovely looking creatures – from my own experience I decided to warn my new colleagues not to disturb the creatures. Despite my warnings one of the adventures decided to take a shiny jewel which lied near the monster foot. He immediately realized why these creatures are called Swordtoothfish! Their teeth are sharp the resulting fight left our comrade with many deep wounds. Since we had no healers with us, we had to head back to nearest settlement, called Sabno’s Camp to treat wounds of our colleague.

The next day we decided to leave our wounded companion in the camp as his state was still serious.
We have passed over the Barren Plains and noticed Shotak Pirates fighting with Kashay Patrols, we decided it would be best to leave them and quickly left the battlefield. Firewind Canyon was our next destination; here we experienced unusual phenomena of appearing and disappearing fire whirlwinds – one could easily get heavy burns by even standing next to it. Further ahead was the Revenant Wasteland, where the undead were roaming near a gigantic monument of a winged Manticora-like monster… We decided to approach the monument and as a huge shock, near the monument was the actual living monster which attacked us as soon as it noticed us. We had to fight our way out and just managed to escape to the nearest camp called Balu Village. Only after we reached the village did we notice that one of our group had vanished.

Our trip wasn't going to get any easier with our group getting smaller and smaller. We knew more dangers laid ahead, so we decided to return to Sabno's Camp to check on our wounded companion, try to regroup and make a plan in case of more contingencies.

The way back was completed in silence. Everyone seemed to be prey of a gloomy mood. When I think about it again, it was obvious that we wouldn't make it much farther with our numbers; we all knew that and we were all concerned our adventures would come to an end sooner than we hoped.

But we made it back, and our companion was there, already on his feet with his crossbow in his hand. The people from the camp had cured his wounds and cared for him. Now that he was fully recovered, he was training once again. Later that day, he told us by the fire, that the Franko Pirates in the camp - who had travelled around Taborea and have seen many things - taught him about age old combat techniques and he had been training them since his recovery. With them he had gained an increased mastery of his weapon, being more accurate and more dangerous with it now.

That night the group seemed a bit more cheerful, but we were still missing one of us and we needed to get back to find him. Our hopes had risen with the recovery of our team mate and his newly rediscovered passion for the art of the ranged weapons. I think we might still see further into this land.

The morning arrived and caught us already preparing our packs to depart once again.
We reached Kidd's Grave and to our surprise the Manticora was still there, we couldn't go around it to continue, we had to come his way.
We discussed our options from a safe distance, trying to find a strategy to bring that giant beast down.
I won't lie to you, we were scared, but our friend needed help and we had to do something.

We decided to take different paths and position ourselves around the Manticora to try to attack it from several directions and so we could try to improve our survival chances. The combat started and we were all surprised to see our recently recovered team mate was displaying a real improvement, we all noticed this right away:

It was a dangerous fight, but we managed to defeat the beast and the path was clean to continue. Right behind where the Manticora was standing we saw a portal, and decided our friend might have been run through it trying to escape, so we picked up our packs and went through.
We didn't expect what was coming, on the other end of the portal we found ourselves face to face with Sismond.

The fight with Sismond was tough even for the mightiest of us. It required huge power and precise coordination to defeat him. Fortunately, after the fight we were able to rescue our unconscious companion.

On our way back to Sabano’s Camp we were attacked by the Kashay Patrol and the fight started over again. The numbers of Kashay grew with every minute and we were pushed deeper and deeper into the hidden structure called Veiled Crypt of Kashaylan. It was full of Kashay warriors and their test objects. I had the feeling that the worse fight was just about to begin…

We had no choice but to venture into the Crypt and tried to find our way out. The structure was gigantic and we encountered monsters at every corner. Their resistance was fierce and they fought for every meter. We moved forward very slowly and on the way we had to defeat powerful monsters which led defense forces.

At the very end of the Crypt we meet powerful creature called Manakaza, we only got a few seconds to prepare as it instantly attacked us. The fight was long, but in the end we prevailed .Then the monster was laying beneath our feet, we have noticed a small rift in the space and we decided to take a closer look. To our surprise we found ourselves outside the Crypt. Being tired from all the recent happenings we headed back to Sabano’s Camp.

Taborean Journal

After few months of recovery in Varanas City, I felt the desire for adventures once more. But this time, I have decided to not go alone – I contacted my companions, who I have met in Kashaylan. They seemed to be excited and eager to discover new Taborean wonders as much as I was.

Kerchif Waylan asked us to investigate ancient seal in his stead; we agreed to help him suspecting that there may be more going on than meets the eyes, but it was a perfect task for adventurers and ourselves. We boarded a ship, which took us to the faraway region of Splitwater Coast. We arrived at the big port city called Port Shard. The first person we met there was Second-in-Command Bodwin Daniels and Commander of Falcon Regiment Tocharis Rummond. It seems that the port city and its surrounding area are constantly under pirate attacks and leaders of Falcon Regiment asked us for help in protecting the people. We willingly agreed.

Some time later we had found out, that the nearby Chalk Canyon Outpost was taken by the Mudfins from the Tiktaalik tribe. My companions and I tried to reason with them, but were instantly attacked. With our fighting experience, we managed to repel the assault and also to rescue warriors from the outpost, who were kept captive by the Mudfins – some of them were badly injured so we escorted them back to the Brinewind Castle.

By the time we reached the city, Falcon Regiment received the distress message from the Bartas Farm. The situation was serious mostly because the Bartas Farm was providing the food and supplies for Brinewind Castle and as such, been under protection of Chalk Canyon Outpost, which currently have been in the hands of the Mudfins. We rushed there to assist the locals and secure the supply routes.

In the past few days we helped a lot of people, but it hasn’t made us closer to finishing the task given to us by the Kerchif Waylan. When the situation settled down a little bit, we packed our bags and moved to the South Willow Manor and Northern Stronghold, only to find out that precious ancient Blacksmithing Recipes were stolen by the Kobolds, who are planning something very dangerous! We had to stop them before it would be too late!

Furthermore, nearby Veiled Mist Harbor and North Willow Manor were overrun by the local Pirates and lay in ruins… Seriously, does the whole region of Splitwater Coast always come under some sort of attack?!? My companions and I were in a very bad mood, wondering if we even can complete the task we have been entrusted?

With the morale of the party being low, we have returned to the Brinewind Castle. Commander of Rummond informed us, that he received reports of suspicious activity in the Crohn Farm near Palar Fields. After the short repose in the castle, we once more set off hoping we can finally find some answers we are looking for.

Unfortunately we were not warmly welcomed by Istye, the owner of the Farm and nearby fields. Soshaka Wormwing - field agent of Falcon Regiment – contacted us asking for help. He believes that sudden attacks of Tiktaaliks, Kobolds and even Splitwater Pirates, all at the same time, are not a coincidence and all his presumptive evidences lead to the person of Istye.

For a couple of days we were working closely with the Soshaka to uncover the mystery surrounding Crohn Farm. We found the secret passage under the nearby town leading to some hidden underground cave, only to discover even more frightening truth! We wrapped up the investigation quickly and reported back to the Commander Rummond. The full scale battle is yet to begin!

Few months have passed again and my friends and I were busy with supporting Falcon Regiment in their war efforts. One day suddenly a messenger from the Shadis family arrived from the Moorlands of Farsitan requesting Falcon Regiment to send someone to help them with the investigation. Since the situation around Brinewind Castle has become more stable, we were asked to travel to Moorlands of Farsitan.

After our arrival to the Spectral Gate, we found out that a horde of undeads was threatening the camp. We headed to the Forsaken Swamps, making our way through the most terrifying monsters like Resstless Souls and Limbless Creepers. It was also unfolded that it was a ghost Kenova, that with some help was able to proceed with all these horrible acts. We will do all in our power to stop it!

Moorlands of Farsitan is in real danger, I dare to say even in bigger one than Brinewind Castle was previously, we need to warn other inhabitants of this land of the upcoming threat! Therefore we rode on horsebacks like madmen to reach Sandalor, the settlement of Dwarves before the nightfall.

Gyetor Ironbeard, sent us on another secret mission to investigate the abnormal activities of the Trolls around the place called Lorsen's Legacy. All the current leads were pointing us deeply into Troll Stronghold and a secret place lying within Madro Troll Nest, where we will hopefully find some answers and to gather mysterious Troll artifacts. The Trolls were prepared and they did not give up without a fierce fight…

After a long and exhausting struggle, we were able to glimpse the truth behind all schemes in the region. Our next clue led us to Sandhor, where we met master craftsman Kughar Fireanvil. There was only one problem… he refused to help unless we fulfilled his request. It was a matter of urgency, thus we agreed to check the situation in the Bottomless Mines, where Ironjaw Overseers were holding hostage enslaved Dwarfs. With this rescue operation, we were able to gain his trust and he promised to help us as far as we are able to provide him all ingredients needed to create a magical artifact.

To finish it we needed to get one extremely rare Rune of Fusing, which is in possession of the Akson family. But obtaining this Rune would also be very dangerous and it maintains the defense against demon assault, these demons try to go through gap in the walls. Our only hope to stave off the threat is to kill demon commanders… Easier said than done…

19

Tuesday, May 10th 2016, 3:14pm

... But we managed to do that and get the Rune from the Akson Family. Now the only thing left to do was to get our hands on the last part of the magical artifact – Runic Water. We could get them in Mountain Temple these water springs from a rune stone floating in the air. But to our surprise it was full to the brim of all manner of rascals and vagabonds. We ventured into the deeps of Raven Heart to defeat the leaders of the Shadow Bandits.

We suddenly received a message from Gyetor Ironbeard, he wanted us to meet him in the Grotto of the Damned. He had something important to tell, so we we went there without delay. The story behind the Grotto hides a terrible tragedy – greedy people and dwarves wanted to use the crystals to craft weapons, but demonic spirits trapped them. The great hero laid down his life together with a small band of brave warriors, to seal the demonic spirits back up in this prison.

But unexpected happened and Primordial Terror appeared in front of us and the fierce battle started. This was our chance to prove ourselves in combat and to seal the alliance between dwarves and two human families!
