It's rarely that convenient for us.
It's really a catch 22 for them for people who actually spend money like I do.
I won't buy diamonds unless they're on sale, and I also won't buy diamonds on sale if there isn't a good sale to spend diamonds on. I would like to make some runes, and I'd drop some more money for diamonds, but they're not on sale. So I'll save my money for other things in my life.
I love this game, but quite honestly it's not doing very well. That being said, you'd think they'd wanna have a diamond sale going on just about every weekend when they have good stuff on sale like runes, etc.
Then there's the whole argument of "you're supposed to buy diamonds when they have a sale so that you have them in stock when there's good stuff to buy in the Item Shop"
I think that's a god awful argument.
If you have a weekend promo running that you know everyone will want, put double diamonds (or whatever percentage 120%, 130%, etc) with it.
And putting a diamond sale when they have the weekend deal "Most Wanted" is a slap in the face. Idk who's "most wanted" that is, but it's certainly nobody's "most wanted" I've ever asked.
tl;dr
If you want my money GF, you're gonna have to put a diamond sale on the same weekends as a good sale. Otherwise I'll continue to spend my money elsewhere, simple as that.
I agree with this honestly, I want to buy stuff but in the end considering how much things cost in the item shop, and what can happen when enchanting gear... OH BOY
The time spent trying to get that enchant gem if you are F2P just to have it fail and lower it's level over and over again is WAY too frustrating to say the least, in fact why was this sort of method even put into a game in the first place to run the risk of having something delevel because you failed to level it up in the first place anyway? And to top it off the enchant gems spent with diamonds do the same exact thing.
In fact there are some item shop diamond items that not available to token shop to top this off. Understandable but at the same time considering just how much it still costs in the diamond shop as well I can't help but just wait for a diamond sale every time rather than just deciding one day "I'll just buy up some diamonds today."
EDIT: whoops quoted twice
