Weekend Sale...Sigh...

So someone help me try to make some sense of this weekend's sale..

All week, our Happy Hour sales have been +16 gems for half off..guaranteed half off plussers, if I had to guess, Sunday's Happy Hour sale will be the weapon gems, since Tuesday was accessories, and today was armor..and then, not only is it another one of the 5 "copy / paste" recycled weekend sales, but you guys choose The Plusser Weekend Sale??

Why?

Why do we need A CHANCE at plussers all weekend, when we've had GUARANTEED HALF OFF plussers twice this week, and again, I'm willing to bet will be the Happy Hour on Sunday..

AT charges will be, what..half a diamond per charge this weekend? Same price as the AT charge Happy Hour you guys run at least once every two weeks..so it's not like this is the one sale we get them on special.

Whoever is getting paid to be responsible for RoM's sales has got it made. They are literally getting paid to do nothing.

And if you guys are gonna point fingers and say "well we still don't have a shop content manager" then either

A.) a GM or CM should take over until one is officially hired

B.) tell the hiring rep to lower their standards (if anyone other than myself even applied that is) because you guys have had ample time to hire someone to make RoM's cash shop intriguing again.

Again, I would LOVE to show you guys how it's done, but I'm apparently linguistically unqualified

well although i like gasha's, i do agree they need to have a GM in charge of sales, at least they know what the player wants and need. Also what a fair price or a real special would be for items. BTW they actually hire and PAY for a sales rep?? really?? do they pay them in diamonds? cause that is not real world currency and maybe they leave the job after trying to buy stuff in real life with it loll ;-)

Anyways, been long enough, hire RustyX for the item shop and stop messing around, he's been here longer than computers have been around, so i think he knows a thing or two ;-)

I've passed your concerns onto the CoMa's. They are aware of the situation.

As for the "lower the requirements" - not sure if you got this from the ad, but the German language requirement is there because you actually have to RELOCATE to Germany to take the position. I'm not sure one would do too well in Germany if they don't know German.

Weekend sale

I agree totally, the weekend sales are a copy / paste every month, basically the same rotation, its always the same, very little new content or rare items available.. where are the 30 day golden hammers, what happened to the 30 day - 30% speed mount pots, Aged wine, higher lvl wedding food buffs.

This post is one we have been screaming about for years... all we here is , " we have passed this information to the CoMa's" very appropriate abbreviation by the way, because that's the state they must be in.

But anyway.. who cares rite?

I applaud you because you are a comical genius.

I also despise you because I'm jealous I didn't come up with that on my own lol

Seriously though. I've been back over a year, we've had the same rotating 5 weekend sales for the past year (maybe longer, idk, I took a break from RoM) and I have to agree with you as well:

We've gotten the same copy / paste sales and the same copy / paste response from GM's for at least a year.

Either:

- the info isn't getting where it needs to go when it's "passed on"

- the info is never actually BEING "passed on" when the GM's say they are.

- these fabled and elusive "rare white elk" CoMas may be just that...a nonexistent "bed time story" department the GM's have been "reading to us" for the past year or more.

- the CoMas "department" IS real, but they honestly and truly don't care about the player base.

There are no other reasons / excuses as to why there has been absolutely NO change in the sales we get, including happy hour, wednesday specials and weekend sales, other than the 4 reasons / excuses I just listed.
