Runes of Magic US / AU

There is a fresh new wind around Taborea. And as much as we will miss the many people from Berlin who joined our travels for many years, so much we will enjoy the time with the new team from Karlsruhe. So it’s time for a last view to all the former adventures.

Here is your task: Create a Wallpaper with scenes or places you enjoyed the most in your past in Runes of Magic. An handshake with the Antqueen or a short visit at Annelias place? Everything is allowed.

As a matter of fact not everyone can be a Photoshop or Gimp guru. So to celebrate the reopening of their signature shop “Unique Art” Eternity, Riodaux and LePuedel are pleased to help you with creating your Wallpaper.

Requirements

• Your Wallpaper must base on an ingame screenshot. But you are free to edit it like you want (using cutouts, different effects and edit styles, etc.). But the main part of your wallpaper should consist of game elements
• Please note that you don’t use elements of third parties that are protected by copyright.
• the minimum resolution is 1280 x 720 px, higher resolutions are also possible (16:9 note).
• Those person who has no widescreen, can also submit his wallpaper in 4:3, minimum resolution shall be 1046 x 760 px
• File format: .jpg or .png
• Deadline is the 20th October, 18.00 CEST

Runes of Magic „Wallpaper Contest“ (called later „Competition“) is organized by

(called later „Gameforge“)

• Competition takes it’s place between 20.09.2013 and 20.10.2013 („Entry Period“).

• Those who want to participate in the competition should send a self made wallpaper, saved as .jpg- or .png-, based on one or more screenshots, taken inside the reality of online game Runes of Magic. Wallpaper should have resolution at least 1280x720 (16:9 ratio) or 1046x760 (4:3 ratio).
• Wallpapers sent after the entry period will not be taken into consideration as works taking part in the competition.

• In competition can participate each registered user of age, registered at „runesofmagic.com/de/“.
• „Participant“ is a person who during the entry period will fulfill the requirements of the competition.
• Participation is free. User won’t be obligated, in order to participate in competition, to purchase any goods.

• Participation should not violate any law, including rights of third persons. The screenshots used in the creation of wallpapers can not contain any chat messages.
• Registered users who wants to participate in the event should send their works at wearerom@runesofmagic.com. Each sent message should contain original and self made wallpaper, account name, and nickname of participating person.

• Participant taking part in the competition agrees that Gameforge has rights to present them to the Gameforge Internet pages and on Gameforge Facebook pages.

Furthermore, the participants agree that these rights can be passed from Gameforge selected submissions to the operators of not communicating with Gameforge website http://ua-signatures.de and provided there for free download.

To this end, participants gives Gameforge a spatially and temporally unlimited and non-exclusive right to use and edit their works. The granting of these rights includes the full or partial transfer to sub-license and as defined by Gameforge affiliates § 15 AktG.

The participants agree that the nickname of them mentioned in the case of presentation of the submission of the above Website will or might be published with and this is sufficient as a description of their authorship.

• In the period from 21.10.2013 to 03.11.2013 users can vote in Runes of Magic forum then on the submissions presented. The four entries with the most votes will be awarded with the prices mentioned in the announcement text. A cash payment, payment in kind, as well as an exchange and / or transfer of prizes is not possible.

• Gameforge will process personal data in consideration of the Federal Data Protection Act and the privacy policy only to carry out the competition and use.

• Participants accepts – by taking part in the competition – Conditions of Participation and Runes of Magic Game Rules. If any of these regulation will be breached, participant and his work will be excluded from the competition.
• Gameforge has right to end the competition in any moment, in case of law or technical problems causing inability of proper functioning of the competition.
