Runes of Magic US / AU

Halloween is approaching and the creepy creatures of the night are getting ready for that night practising all their tricks, pranks and mischievous acts. During the next two weeks, we recommend to all inhabitants of Taborea to pay attention where they go and stay alert, since we can never know what the witches, zombies and creepy pumpkins are going to do next.


Prepare yourself for some treats, events, contests and of course prizes during the next two weeks and up to the night of the witches (October 31st). You will find all the information you need in this thread. Keep an eye on it for more events!

Not only are weird things happening in Taborea in these dark nights, but things are also appearing. The witches and ghosts of Taborea seem to be putting stuff into people’s mailboxes.

Between October 16th and October 31st, some presents will be delivered each day to your mailbox. The first character from your account you log in with that day will receive the present of the day. Each day has one present assigned which you will receive if you log-in that day, however, skipping one of the days doesn't affect the rest.

There will different gifts, from some scary transformation potions, to some consumables and buff food!

Old legend says that during the rare Blood Moon Eclipse people should not look into the dark mirror as they might be drawn into the nightmare world. But this is not an obstacle for brave Taborean adventurers, who are not afraid of the scariest monsters – what kind of unnatural creature will they see once they look into the mirror?

Show us the scariest monster in Taborea and win some cool prizes!

Rules:

1. Every registered Runes of Magic player may participate in the competition. Members of the Runes of Magic Team are not eligible to participate.
   
2. By participating in the competition, you give Gameforge permission to use your submission on any Gameforge official page (such as forums, websites, Facebook and Twitter).
   
3. Every submission must match the competition theme.
4. Participants may enter only one submission for the whole competition.
   
5. We will choose 3 winners from each community (RoM: EN / DE / FR / PL / ES / IT / US). Participants will be grouped by the servers where they would like to receive the reward. Winners will be announced on the forums and on our social media pages.
   
6. The Runes of Magic Team may change the rules for the competition at any time, should unforeseen circumstances prevent the fair administration of the competition.
   

Competition theme:

• "The scariest creature in the Taborea"
  

Any submissions, which:

1. infringe copyright laws or were not made by the participant,
   
2. are submitted in an incorrect file type,
   
3. do not match the competition theme,
   
4. use animation,
   
5. violate the Terms of Use, Forum Rules, and/or Game Rules of Runes of Magic
   

will be excluded from the competition immediately and without warning. The Runes of Magic Team will judge the submissions and choose the winners, taking into account the effort, creativity and visual effect of the submitted works.

Submission details:

1. Your submission must be made in one of the following formats: .JPG, .BMP, .PNG, .GIF, .TIFF
   
2. Each user may send only one submission.
   
3. Your character with visible nickname has to be included on the screenshot.
   
4. All submissions must be sent via email to: event@runesofmagic.com.

Note: The email must be sent from a valid email address (linked to your Runes of Magic account) and one that you check regularly.

Timeframe:

1. The competition starts on: 15.10.2015
   
2. The competition ends strictly at: 1.11.2015 23:59 CET
   

All entries submitted after this time will not be considered by the judges.

Rewards:
For each Runes of Magic community, the RoM Team will choose 3 winners (i.e.3 winners per community for a total of 21 winners).

All winners will receive 500 diamonds.

Regardless if you are staying awake the whole night to fight ugly monsters which appear on Halloween eve or wandering around trick or treating with your friends, you will need some supplies to have strength!

Worry not, our friends Eve, Frank, Owenstein and Hilary were visited by spooky creature from the darkest parts of Taborea who gave them tons of supplies, but he wants something in return. Are you brave enough to check the supplies on offer? Visit them in the Varanas Main Plaza (channel 1), between 21st October (after the maint) to 28th October (till maintenance) and find out by yourself!
