Runes of Magic US / AU

Finally got annoyed enough to make this thread after yesterday's login bonus. SO here is what I think of Gameforge's Login bonus so far:

1) 7 day mounts - err what, oh ok, there are some new ppl and some alts that would get something out of it. not like most of the regular players need it... thrown away.

2) cookies and biscuits - wow, just wow. send us some more of these so we can put them right next to the phirus potions that are so readily available through minigames and other previous festival events. thrown away on most toons.

3) 'Great' Snowball Fight items - hardly anyone does these events but sure, might help those few that does it, do it faster... I know one person that spent an hr doing it alone...

4) Transformation potions - oh hey a useful item for once! except that party transformation candy but ya...

5) Pet Loyalty food - okay...semi useful but really most people don't wait till loyalty drops by 10 to feed their pets as they need it at max all the time to get max benefit from it... and loyalty only drops when they die with pet out... now if it was nourishment, it would have been more useful (not by much) as ppl like to keep pet out to afk and get the pet to talk to get that minimal inc in stats.

6) Magic Perfume - oh wow another good item! except... what the hell! it's time is already half gone!?! how did that happen, I just logged in... oh wait its from those id10ts that hardly ever get things right... except how many times have ppl asked for it and other items like it to be put into a bag like those 7 day mounts so that we can get them and use them when we want... and that's another thing, you guys knew that the timer will start immediately and still sent it on Monday... you know most ppl work on Monday right? so most ppl get an item who's time is already half gone, while they still have dailies and minis to do... and ofc can't stay up for long to go farming to put it to use anyway as they have work to do on Tuesday too... oh wow what a strange concept, work on a weekday! so in short a useful item that turned out to be useless...

Please at least try to plan ahead like I know you can as shown by the server merge... or can you? did you hire some outside help to plan it for you?

Now on to Event IS Special!

1) 'Great' Snowball Fight items - errr anyone who wants to buy these items... just don't and give those dias to me and I will complete the 'Great' Snowball Fight for you...

2) Mounts - well... I guess there are some new ppl who might need them and old ppl who likes to collect all the mounts just because... even though there is no point as these mounts wouldn't really be used for anything as the rune disk still remains the fastest mount...

3) Transformation potions - great items that will be used by many people, specially end gamers.

4) pet transformation potions - these don't really look good compared to what we usually get on pet sales. also the pet hardly ever cast them when needed... and 1% boost to attack power, 1% boost to attack speed and 1% boost to spellcasting speed... really?!

5) pet eggs - no buffs or useful in any way

6) gear aggs - I guess ppl like to modify the looks of their gear...

7) decorations - meh, same as gear aggs.

and wow... really surprised on the weekend sale... "hey guys! we have so many xp/tp/drop rates bonuses going, but forget about that and here have some cool discounts on crafting items and go afk in your house or farm mats in the world and ignore all that xp/tp/drop rate bonuses! "

that's what looked like your message was from the weekend sales . Should have thrown in some daily reset tickets, puris and plussing jewels as most ppl are going to be much higher lvl if not lvl cap and would be looking for gear upgrades.

and here's an idea; all you event sales should have discounted puris and plussing jewels in a gasha, with the puris and plussing jewels guaranteed every time along with a random event specific item... although keep in mind if you drive up the price of the gasha too much, no one would want to get it...
