Loyalty Event

Are you a RoMaholic from the very beginning?
Then get in touch with us!

Seven years ago, Taborea was born. Countless players got enthusiastic about Runes of Magic ever since. We would like to know now: Who of you has been with us the longest? If you want us to check the date your account was created, just send an email to loyalty@runesofmagic.com between 18.03 – 23.03 (see the conditions of participation below). As a reward, the RoMaholics will receive, among other things, our popular Runes of Magic mug, an impressive certificate and a spot on the specially created “Wall of Fame”. ;)

We are looking forward to meeting our most loyal players!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following conditions govern the course of the Loyalty Event (‘event’) as organised by Gameforge 4D GmbH, Albert-Nestler-Straße 8, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany (‘Gameforge’).

1. Participation Period
The event starts on 18/3/2016. The ‘deadline’ for entries is 29/3/2016.

2. No Entry Fees
Participation in the event is free and is not bound to the purchase of any goods or the subscription to a fee-based service.

3. Eligibility
(1) All users (‘user’) of full age with a personally created, active account (‘account’) for Runes of Magic, the online game offered by Gameforge, are eligible to enter.
(2) Employees of Gameforge or companies associated with Gameforge, or spouses and relatives thereof, are not eligible to participate.

4. Participants
A ‘participant’ is every eligible user who submits an email (‘submission’) to loyalty@runesofmagic.com with the subject line ‘RoMaholic’ before the deadline, in accordance with the following conditions:
a) The submission must be sent from the email address associated with the participant’s account and contain the names of the account and a character belonging to the account, the name of the respective game server and the associated community (DE/ES/FR/IT/PL/UK/US), plus – as far as possible – the approximate date when the account was created.
b) The submission may optionally include a screenshot which depicts the participant's character in the character selection screen (‘screenshot’). Neither personal details of any kind, the interface nor contents not related to the game may be visible on the screenshot (the respective character name is irrelevant in this case). Screenshots may be submitted in .jpg, .png or .gif format with a maximum file size of 6 MB. File format and size may be altered to conform to this requirement, but any editing beyond this is not permitted.
c) Each participant may send only one submission.

5. Winners
(1) Gameforge will determine a ‘winner’ for each community whose account was created earliest in the respective community from amongst all eligible submissions by 8/4/2016.
(2) Gameforge will announce the winners on the forums [LINK] and the channels maintained by Gameforge on Facebook and Twitter (‘announcement’), using their character names and a reproduction of their screenshot, and inform them of their win via an email sent to the email address used for the submission (‘notification’).

6. Prizes
(1) The winners will each receive a Runes of Magic fan pack, an in-game mount, plus a special certificate which details the name of the character submitted, the character creation date, the account creation date and the name of the character's server.
(2) The prizes will be dispatched by a delivery service provider (‘service provider’) commissioned by Gameforge from 21/4/2016, and requires a valid postal address (‘address’) to be sent in reply to the notification. The in-game mount will be allocated to the character detailed in the winner's submission.
(3) The prizes are deemed to have been awarded to the winners by Gameforge with the handover of the prizes to the service provider.
(4) A cash disbursement and/or payment of the prize in goods, or the exchange and/or transfer of the prize to third parties is excluded in each case.

7. Disclaimer
(1) Gameforge, its bodies, employees, and subcontractors are liable exclusively for wilful intent and gross negligence, regardless of legal basis, and in cases of ordinary negligence, only for the violation of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damages, as far as not precluded by other compulsory statutory provisions.
(2) These limitations do not apply for the loss of life, personal injury or damage to health.

8. Declaration of Consent
In the case of a win, the participants consent to the announcement and notification, as well as our forwarding their address to the service provider for the purposes of sending the prize.

9. Data Privacy
(1) Gameforge will collect, use and process the personal data of the participants solely for the purposes detailed in these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with data protection regulations.
(2) Further information regarding Gameforge’s handling of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy .

10. Other
(1) The participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions with their submission.
(2) In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms & Conditions also apply (together the ‘rules’).
(3) Should a participant infringe upon the rules during the event, or such an infringement by proven thereafter, their eligibility may be revoked.
(4) Gameforge reserves the right to end the event at any time, if for technical or legal reasons its proper execution cannot be guaranteed.
(5) In the event that any individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions become ineffective, the remaining provisions shall remain effective and binding. Statutory rules shall take the place of the ineffective provision.

Dear players!

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Loyalty Event! We were truly pleased with the high level of participation!

After checking all submissions and evaluating your data, we determined the players, who have been with us the longest. The winners of each community have already been informed via email.

We will soon present you our faithful RoMaholics in a specially created Wall of Fame.
