During our last maintenance for the server move on 19th January 2012, our forum was upgraded to VBulletin4. This brought a new visual appearance with it as well as new and improved functionalities of some forum features, e.g. the editor or how posts are being aligned.
The next step will be to re-organize our forum structure and layout for a better readability on your side as well as administrating on the boards from our side.
Therefore, on
Thursday, the 26th of January 2012, we will shut down the US & US-ES forums at 6 am PST until approx. 1 pm PST.
During this time you will not be able to access the forums!
While we were hoping to announce the update to VBulletin4 ahead of time for your convenience, our IT was able to implement the expected upgrade much sooner and you were caught a bit by surprise by being greeted by a shiny, new and improved forum software.
Most of our community embraced these changes openly and adapted fast to the new forum while others struggled a bit with the upgraded version until getting used to. Changes are just like that: when we are used to an established setting or layout, they are not always easy to adapt to and take time before they grow on us again. In the end it’s the achieved goal that makes some changes so worthy.

On Thursday, the 26th of January 2012, starting at 6:00 am PST until approx. 1:00 pm PST we will lock down our forums for the final re-organization.
The forum structure will get a nice polish and old, outdated threads will be archived to increase the readability and stability and to improve the navigation on our forums. Among the exiting changes to come is a total overhaul of the bug and server sections (and adding “Palenque” for our English speaking community on that server to the US EN forum section). The forum rules will be updated to a new version, and we would like to encourage you to read them once we are back up and running, a link will be provided as soon as it is available.
