Runes of Magic US / AU

Starting from 28th of March, we will run a field test in Siege Wars for US and EU Servers. During this field test phase we will change the settings so that 300 instead of 200 guilds can register for siege wars, following your feedback that not enough guilds can join our Siege Wars Beta. We will monitor the performance for 2 days and decide if we keep the settings this way or return them to previous status again, based on our results and your feedback.

Please give us your feedback in this thread, which will remain open until Friday, 7 am PDT and open shorly before the Siege Wars phase from Wednesday, 28th of March.

Dear RoMmunity,

first of all we’d like to thank you for your generous support during yesterday's siege wars field test. From the combined feedback from US and EU side, we are aware that many of you experienced a disturbance in your normal siege war fun and we apologize for this inconvenience. However, to analyze the siege war performance is necessary for further improvements.

As announced yesterday we’ll have another test today. For this the amount of guilds that can participate in siege wars will be raised up to 400 instead of 200.

Based on yesterday’s results, our IT has reconfigured the servers, so the server settings will be changed today.
For this reason, we’d like to provide you with a new survey, starting at 7 pm PDT.

Our goal with these tests is that in the future more guilds can participate in siege wars and making the overall performance better, meaning players have a more enjoyable experience with siege wars.

On Friday, 30th of March 2012 we’re going to revert the settings back to normal and back to 200 guilds for registration, so that you can play as ever during weekend.

We are likely to run further tests next week on Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you very much for your co-operation so far.

Update:

As announced yesterday, today only the regular 200 guilds can register and participate in siege wars. We will remove the guilds who registered last and exceeded that maximum limitation for today's siege wars, so that only 200 guilds will remain as participants.

And a little Update of the Update:

Unfortunately we experienced a technical issue during the adjustments of the registered guilds list for tonight's siege wars. Because of that we had to erase the entire registration list. Please re-register for siege wars again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for you.
