Yeah, as soon as we went in and I saw a structure called "circle of death" that GMs built, I knew those no-goodniks GM were up to no good. And I was right. We wuz all killed dead!

Thanks, GMs. Was fun. Can we have a smaller arena next time to pack 100 toons in? :P

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

That was a mockery of all the good events they have ever done before. This event wasn't thought out at all, and I'm pretty sure, the event itself was just an excuse so that they only need to show up for a few mins and than claim the event is over and run away...

That followed by HEX advertising... ever heard that actions speaks louder than words? pretty sure everyone can see just how committed you guys are to RoM

So here we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

On one hand, we have people complaining about having more events, seeing more GM's without someone being in trouble.

On the other hand, we now have people, like you, that complain when we do what people want.

Gah! What to do about complainers like you?

In other words: Stop complaining. If you didn't like the event, no one forced you to participate. It was a small spontaneous event, not meant to be very large, and no, not really planned per-se. So to be blunt, if you don't like it, kindly continue with your regular activities in game and stop complaining just to gain attention, thanks :)

To other people who are actively offering constructive thoughts to the topic:

Thanks! We enjoyed being there. As I mentioned above, it was a spontaneous event, and we're trying to plan to do a lot more of them, maybe not exactly this one, but more like it. Please, if there's something you think we can pull off or do, or a theme of an event you'd like to see, let us know in the suggestions forum and we'll sit down and see if we can make it happen. Sarkas being a dedicated Event Manager brings a lot to the table regarding ideas and how to accomplish something event-wise, so certainly something suggested is possible.

As far as I am concerned, everyone who bothered to come after their siege was able to gain an extra of badges, since we gave out an "thanks for stopping by" reward. We stayed longer than the siege war lasted and we gave out those rewards untill the last minute before we logged off again.

The extra prize was accessable for one person only anyway.

Our event schedule goes like this: We choose the time where the most teamlers got the time to help out. And if it clashes with sw, we are very sorry.

Some teamlers come from all over the world and I usually get up at 4am in my time zone to be available during such events for the US folks.

If that's not dedicated enough, then I don't know what is

Neat.. Have one upset because he got rewards and one upset because he didn't. If I was a GM, I would look for you in game and drop an unkillable boss on each of you

Your comments are really unnecessary and lack meaning all you do is ride the gms get off of them and be yourself.

First, Pot/kettle much?

Second, I don't "ride the gms"

Third, while I agree with your "people are suppose (sic) to speak up so there can be change" statement, most of us use well thought out arguments both pro and con.

P
eople whined and complained that GMs were never online. They -the GMs - show up and the first thing you do is complain that the GIFTS (you know-FREE STUFF) is not worth it. REALLY? Grow Up. it is FREE STUFF. If it is useless for you, sell it on AH if it is not bound or better yet, throw it away. Don't, for the love of all that is wholesome and good in the world, complain about FREE STUFF. That is childish, immature and almost guaranteed to make them (the GMs) hesitate in coming back.

Instead (and this is only a suggestion to you) come to the forums next time and try a statement such as this: Hey GM ______. Thank you for coming to Mithras last night. I really appreciate the effort you all are putting into your GMship trying to make us all happy. Next time though, how about giving away _______. We on Mithras would find that much more useful."

See how that lets them know that you thought the free gifts given were meh and that there are other items you would rather have?

Also all i said was ppl are discouraged because of the rewards i had nothing to say about how i didnt get this or that i didnt even participate only time i log on rom is to sell something than log.
BTW you are riding them and your riding them hard its like you dont even care about the community or success of the game only about the gm's approval.

Couldn't have summed up the GM's thoughts regarding this any better.

You weren't even in game. Actually you've stated you don't even play the game anymore. The rewards obviously weren't worth it to you since you didn't partake in them. Kindly keep your comments to yourself then.

everyone should know by now that gameforge wont hand out anything that will cost them even 1 cent in sales

Tired of your negativity. I welcome criticism but lately none of your comments lately have been nothing short of "gameforge sucks" and it will not be tolerated anymore. Goodbye.

Needless to say, thread closed. If you have a specific suggestion on an event you'd like to see, please let us know in the suggestions forum. Meanwhile we'll try different events and gauge feedback based on your reactions.
