Of course they nerfed Krolin... Frogster/Runewaker never leave anything ingame that's actually good for the players. They have to fix those. it's the bugs that everyone hates that stick around for years.

While 15 seconds respawn time is a bit too short, I have to agree that 8h respawn time is a bit ... well... too long, even if that is the usual timer for world bosses ^^

Especially since he is part of a quest-line.

We have forwarded this again to have this re-evaluated.

Edit: My last information for Siege Wars times is that this has been fixed with today's maintenance. If this is not the case, please let me know.

Is it just me?

I get to about 60% then get an error that the patch can not be found...

It took me 3 Months to find the Ant Queen last time i did it, I Guess this will help all the people that have farmed this world boss stay a bit ahead of the rest of us that who were working on Just completeing the Quest.

Krolin - I didn't get to farm him for stats - my little bit of game time has been used at the crafting festival or messing around with a dwarf. However my knight is 72/71 and now I am kicking myself for not rushing over to the new zone to quest and farm Krolin. As it stands now - Krolin will be like finishing the Giant Cacti in Dust Devil Canyon - so many unpleasant memories there. =(

Why is it that only those who rush to play the new content in the first couple weeks of it - benefit. And if you actually take the time to enjoy the game - you end up missing out.

What they should have done is made it so that you can only do it on normal or hard every 8 hours, but have the easy mode one respawn really fast for those that want the quest.

Glad we farmed it for 3 hours lastnight, should have known anything that I actually enjoyed about the new chapter would be taken away.

IMO Krolin helped the economy considerably, rather then playing the waiting game for failed stat pulls we could run Krolin and fill the AH with stats, oh and we spent diamonds on Puri's. Really Gameforge is spiting themselves for this.

I get that the have nots are happy about this, but stat prices are sure to go up now, which will make the have nots have even less. It was fine exactly how it was, and of course they took it to an extreme.

I agree with the intent. Krolin farming made RoM a brainless farm at end game.We stopped going into AC entirely. 8 hours is indeed too long. A 1 hour respawn would be much more reasonable imo.

The glorious stat farm bosses in TB are on a 45 minute respawn, that would have been extremely more reasonable.

Have to agree. +1.

Though I could really care less. I'd rather know the progress on the siege war damage reduction... and if it will ever be implemented.

Krolin: Should be 30-45 minute respawn since it is a questline mob.

As stated earlier, Tergothen bosses were 45 min respawn times, should make Krolin's coincide with theirs.

Actually, krolin was probably the best thing that happened to non-end of end gamer in a while. Its a guild wide event that people could participate in, sometimes even a server wide event. How often do you see that many people running and playing together for more than just a few minutes? Sure it made statting a lot easier (atleast for shell stats...you still had to run AC and Tosh for stats) but how terrible and glitched out the energy of justice events are in the new zone, and the fact that the new instance is a 6 man that most people will be left out of....krolin was a pretty awesome thing.

But everyone knows Runewaker/Frogster/Gameforge/whoevertheefftheoverlords are can't ever leave anything in the game that the player base actually likes.

Examples:

Rune NPC - Everyone loved it, thought it was great, was taken out.
Krolin - Everyone loved it, thought it was great, nerfed to the ground and made useless.
Owenstein - Most people liked it, it was good, made useless with stupid gashas.

As angry as borella may sound in this post, this does seem to be the trend in this game. Why exactly are these things that help the players and the over all in game economy removed so quickly? The Rune NPC made trash purples that no one wants useful and gave us runes worth selling on the AH. The economy was getting great for a while when it was out...and then it got removed and runes were too expensive for anyone to afford again. Krolin gave us a steady supply of fail stats, people were gearing up to t7 gear, even the not super rich end game ones...and then getting fail stats is hard again and now we are going back to t6 and statting will take months to years for people. These were AMAZING additions to the game that everyone loved...so why where they removed? And so much faster than harmful bugs like... localization glitches where we have no npc names, the events in the new zone being broken, our economy still being pretty rough on the hole.

Does anyone else feel like the game is actually being paid attention to? Like the higher-ups are tired of just "seeing what happens" and want to make things happen. In all the time I have played this game, I have not seen this much attention paid to the game. I usually expect monthly, if that, fixes and not every other week fixes. Some of the bugs they fixed I expected to have to live with for a year. You think this means they want to start charging to play this game, once they make it work as intended?

No these are just the usual "nerf all the good things that the new chapter gave us" fixes. At the start of chapter 4 they nerfed the rune vendor. At the start of each chapter they find all the really easy things to use and make them more useless...and fix a few of the "major" bugs (like localization errors...but that usually takes a month or two)
