Runes of Magic US / AU

Well I think it is broken.

I can't pick up the first item. I can pick up the 2nd and 3rd but not the 1st. I can see it visually and on the map but I can't get a tag on it when I hover. I've tried all around it and I can see what looks like a small blank dialog window when I hover over a spot about 10 feet to the south of it but that doesn't do anything either.

I even tried abandoning the quest and dumping the other items and starting from scratch again. No help

Any ideas?

Yipes, ive done this on other characters, but as above the first crystal is 'untouchable'.

So is this one that works only after a maintenance?

Really, why hasnt this been fixed in a year?

i had the same problem, and here is what I did.

1) Abandon the quests
2) Keep the quest items
3) Accept it again
4) Collect the final item (Should work this time)
5) Quest completed

Old thread i know so dont reminde me...but the quest is still broken and all of the above suggestions didn't work.

I never had trouble with this quest on my main, but I did run into this same issue on my mage o.o. I ended up just skipping the quest. Sad that it's been broken for so long, but not all too surprising.

I'd suggest sending in a ticket if you really want to get the quest done. It may help, it may not.

I run into this one too. drop the quest didnt help.

BUT, I relogged and this solved the problem, i could pick the 1st item...

Yup relog when you're at the item that doesn't work = completion
