After nerf, perfect class?

Okay, the perfect class to me is something with FAST dps and good damage (physical attack). And the "perfect" class I'm looing for I want good defense and crowd control (taking on multiple enemies without dying) with pretty good hp but still puts out a good bit of Dps. I also want some AoE's and stuff for more crowd control. And last I want good, fast ranged damage, but I already have a Mage, and Scout was perfect for my dream class until the nerf coming up in the nest 5 hours. >.> Would Scout still be good ranged damage for my dream class, even with nerf. I'll be using it as a secondary. So if you think you can make my dream class with the triple combination try and I just might try your combo.
:D I know Rogue will be the fast melee part I talked about in the front. But Like I said it's too squsishy and dies easy, so I want a class with good defense too. As for the ranged damage, the scout nerf ruined me. Any solutions? Like would Scout still be good? I could've been able to kite with Scout Secondary but they nerfed Shot ):
Okay, just try to set up my dream class for me. :D<3

There is ONLY one perfect class in "Runes of Magic"

That class is a BattleMonk (P/W)

Also a better place to start this thread would be in the "General Class" area.

Rogue/knight is the "fast dps" you want and isn't squishy at all. o.o Although of course your dps is... limited, if not non-existent. (I don't play knights, so i'm not sure if there is some knight-general skill that is an aoe).

Knights don't have any AoE general skills. In fact, they only have two class-specific AoE skills, Chains of Light Rank 3 (roots three targets in range) and Whirlwind shield.

Also, there isn't a class that has an AoE general skill, otherwise that would be a pretty popular class. :P I would also second R/K or P/W for your class. You can always switch to K/R for AoEs (if you choose that). I've always wanted to try out a P/W, but haven't gotten the chance until now. *is excited*

Actually, warriors have a general skill, whirlwind, which is an AoE. But unless you have an elite that makes it better, it's next to worthless due to its high rage cost and 30 second CD.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Probably due to the fact that I've never played a warrior. :P

Warriors are actually getting a nice buff in DPS. And Warrior/Rogue wouldnt be bad for your perfect class. Warriors get 3 AOEs, with the best being mooncleave. No ranged attacks but not bad def, and decent DPS it makes for a good class for Crowd Control.

You want high ranged fast dps, high survivability, aoe and Cc. I know the perfect class for you. It's called godmode OP IMBA class.

You've got to be joking.. yes W/R is amazing DPS, but not bad defense? You have to take away 86% of it just to do your good damage. In my opinion they're probably the squishiest class in the game. IF they're going their full potential that is.

Why do you have to take away 86% defense to go full potential?

Because of general skill berserk (-36% def) and elite Frienzied Attack (-50%).

Oh lawd at this thread. So basically you want an EZ mode class that can do everything? Well that was scout, but uhhhh....not anymore. Why? Because making the EZ mode perfect class RUINS the game.

W/R is good dps (I'd still say r/s is better due to combat master alone), but you give up huge pdef, so it doesn't even matter if you have 40k pdef (like i do), because you drop to 14%. Oh, you also have no ranged attacks besides throw. Oh, you also have to manage rage and energy well, and then watch your aggro (W/R can dual wield, but a lot use giant tyda due to huge dmg).

Ive actually seen nothing that suggests R/S is not still the top DPS melee out there and, if anything, may have grown further away since R/K got gimped and they actually fixed several of the issues with R/S. So if all you care about is being OP DPS there you go.

See right now, I'm Rogue/Scout and for my third, (because of how squishy this class is), I wan't something that can still help me with damage but definatley take my squishyness away.

I know of only 8 perfect classes:
Wd/K
Wd/P
K/Wd
K/D
D/K
D/P
P/D
P/Wd

I've never, ever seen one of those classes do poorly or fail at anything.

Squishy?

What does squishy mean in classes? low effective health? or Absorbs health?
