Can anyone outline specifically how to manage the box jumping for the Double Prisoner part of this quest?

Do it the easy way. Get a guildie (or shout for someone in zone) who has AOE to party with you. Then stand near boxes and cast your AOE a bit toward him. He will jump right at you.

Another thing that worked for me. jump up on small box, place a box, it goes right where you are standing, jump straight up, you are now on top of the placed box. place another and jump straight up. you can now step off on to Large box, then jump onto ledge and obliterate the Double Prisoner!

Now if i can just figure out how to extinguish those torches :confused:

The torches were bug for me only 3 came up . I logged and came back on channel 1 , there they were 4 torches .

I didnt have any trouble once i got the box, but im stuck on the torches. do they have to be clicked in a specific order or something?

Yes, there is an order, and apparently it is different for different people. One of my guildies did and two more tried the order he used, it didn't work for either of us. It takes a while to figure out, at least it did for me.

Each torch you put out will extinguish a certain number of other torches. I would suggest extinguishing each torch one by one to figure out the pattern; it helps to write it down. It might take a few tries but shouldn't take you longer that a few minutes. :cool:

2 Down, Where's the Third?

Okay...Disappearing and Double Prisoners are down but I cannot find the Defending Prisoner or the torches. I have covered every square inch of that place (x10) and its surrounding areas, and still no luck. Is this quest bugged or am I missing something? I've tried all the channels...on OSHA.

Prisoners ARE searchable via NPC search.

This is the order I used, once I completed it, I went back and checked it. Worked again, so I killed the guy again, then waited for respawn and checked the sequence a 3rd time... worked all 3 times. Here's a diagram:

All torches should be lit.
Click front right.
Click back left.
Click front left (to relight the torch).
Click front left again.

For the boxes I climbed up on the side of the big fortress and jumped forward so my long range skill could be in ranged and I just shot him. He came down and I killed him :D
