Lost Morrok Wallinder quest

hey hi, need help please:confused:
I lvl ed real fast on 3x days and went on to doing dod. I found I can not see the tale port man in the sewers so I backtracked and put the low lvl quests on and did the Morrok Wallinder quest line. I do understand that the quest i need to do is disappearing solders with Simon dibark but if i go to see simon he has no quest for me. I can not find another quest to do to get me to this part. I must have lost the quest line somewhere after leaving thunderhoof hills to look for the brother. I have no continuing quest in my quests. how do I find where I left of
f?--

I have a similar problem which started with the "Morrok Questline" for Thunderhoof hills. I have submitted countless ticket regardng this matter ever since I noticed that a lot of the quest is missing from the mentioned map. Consequently, this bugged quest led to missing quests in SJF, NJF, LIMO, Land of Malevolence, Redhill and Tergothen Bay.

I had religiously sent tickets almost on a weekly basis for the past 6 or so months about this problem, some of the vague and some have more vivid description of the existing problem. I have received no reply whatsoever expect for a number of the confirmation (automated) mail reply.

The new map, Tergothen Bay presented to me not more than a dozen quest that i can do. That's just a very tiny fraction of the quest needed to gain levels.

I would greatly appreciate it if rom/frogster/whoever stops IGNORING MY PROBLEM and present to me a SOLID AND SWIFT RESOLUTION to this matter.

I hope problems/bugs like these are not view as "good business" because problems/bugs like these leave a lot of people no choice but to spend more money on cash shop items in order to deal with such incompetency and be able to enjoy the game.

There are two quest lines for Morrok Wallinder. The one that many people seem to miss is the one which starts in Aotulia Volcano/Titan's Hill with Mysterious Torrog. It is a continuation of a smaller quest chain that begins in AV. If you haven't done quests in AV, it's time to go back and do some.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think the quest to get the fast teleport to dod was part of morrok's line, isn't that one of the city guards line? He asks you to investigate the sewers and find his missing man, once you finish that it should be enough to get the fast transport there. On a side note, and yes I feel its important to throw this in: leveling that far that fast is exactly why this kind of thing happens. People are blindly stumbling through the game with zero playing experience and have to clog the forums with questions. Sorry op, I do value your request for help, but you were led astray when others should have been helping you along the way, so not totally your fault.

People are not rushing or blindly stumbling through the game on purpose it is the stupidity of having chain quests that require huge differences of levels to complete. We finish one quest and think it is the last quest in the chain because there is nothing more at our level to do on that map. Many, many times I have turned in a quest to the character who is going to give me the next quest in the chain but have been too low a level to get the quest or even see the fact that there is another quest in the chain and then left that map.
I want to play the game not spend hours searching to find that I missed a quest 2 maps back because I was a couple of levels too low and because I had finished every quest that I could find at my level and left that map and moved on to the next one before I finished every quest in that chain.
To have to go to a guide or walkthrough to find quests because you are unable to find then in the normal game play is an epic fail in the game design.

Actually on that point its a fail on the community, the laziness of the RoM community in general is mirrored in the rom wiki, and even in the lack of detailed info on the rom database websites (even though the site itself is well put together, it still relies on user feedback). Many MMO's have stalls in quest chains which a proper wiki can speedily correct. We now have the widget feature (which apparently few use, even less know about and several features of it don't function properly) that will allow for quick links to the database, and if the wiki was up to par, links to it too I assume. While I do agree there are many gaps left in quest lines due to poor forethought, lack of required levels, ect, I still have been able to get all of my quests done with minimal frustration. It just gets back to what I was saying about people rushing through stuff too fast. And don't take this the wrong way, but you said you would complete what you thought was the end of a chain then jump to the next area. i rarely do that. I will hang out at least one, if not two, more levels, get some loot to sell, learn the area, do dailies, ect (well that last part is a lie these days, everyone does the same daily, we all know it lol). Point being, why rush to endgame if you're just gonna have to backtrack anyway? I really don't understand that mentality. Once you get to endgame, get your gear....then its sitting around farming for stuff to get rich...to what end??? Aren't games supposed to be fun, not a 2nd job?

It is not rushing to end game, when you finish the last available quest in an area you can stay and grind which is more like a job or move on to a new area. What is the purpose of staying in an area where you can kill anything easily and as you said doing dailys in a different region, when there are new areas open where you have new quests and stronger monsters to kill ?
The fun in a game is making progress not sitting around and seeing if you can kill 10,000 easy monsters in the same region just to get to the next level so you don't miss a quest.
You even mention wiki, if you have to use wiki to play the game, the game is a fail. It is nice to have and fun to use to learn about the game but when it becomes a vital part of the game as it is here, it is a major failure in game design.

Morrok Wallinder Questline Lost

Ugh..Yes , I have the same problem, and all Frogster says is that this is an known issue and to regularly check the forum for updates..... are you serious? thats it?? Wow, I've dumped over $200 into this game easy and they won't help resolve this problem for me? I am missing the herb that begins another quest Morrok gave me to get the Snooper title and to continue countless other quests in other zones.

no help? really? ... its no wonder so many people are leaving this game.

I don't understand why this issue is not resolved since it seems to be a repeatable bug. It's extremely frustrating to spend money on a game, be ignored by support, and the issue swept under the rug. The fix seems to be easily remedied. Just put the item on a vendor to purchase if it no longer is in the player's bags. If you can add useless items to events that clutter our bags up you can certainly add an item that is integral for advancement on a player's toon.

Off topic, but the idea of people using the widget without knowing about it is just too hilarious too pass up. I hope you're the type who can laugh at your own mistakes, cause this one is funny. ;)
