Key Redeeming issues

I found a place giving out keys for mounts, it's for US servers I think. But when I go to put they key in with my name and pass it tells me the pass and name don't match. This is the site I got it from.

You'll need to send a ticket in to support for that, as it sounds like there's an issue with either the code or your account, neither of which we can help with here.

There's a guide to using the support portal (and a link) in my comment. Feel free to PM me if you have any issues there.

i just tried it as well, error message says "key is dedicated for EU-Version of Runes of Magic", but the site says USA, Canada and Europe. may just be some confusion as to which keys are for whom

As far as I know it shouldn't be doing that, but I'll look into it. Give me a few minutes.

Got the same Dedicated to EU servers message. Now I feel cheated out of getting something for providing my email to a company who gets paid for false advertisement. :(

Yeah, looks like a problem getting the keys to register on NA. I'm not sure if that is our end or their end, but I've contacted the guy in charge there and he should have it sorted asap.

I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. I made a few calls but some key folk are out of the office so it likely wont see a resolution until tomorrow morning. Sorry for the trouble.

NA ROM and EU ROMs have never really shared the keys as far as I know. So, unless that changed lately, they can't give a key and say that you can get it at either US or EU. Given as the key is recognized as EU key, my guess is that they got bunch of keys from EU side, misunderstood the ROM organization and said it can be redeemed in US by mistake.

I got the newsletter yesterday as well, and I was able to redeem for the decoration with no problem. I never signed up for EU newlsetter before, but perhaps some of you are only receiving the EU email instead?

It's the only reason I could think of offhand :/

The OP is not referring to the decoration from the RoM newsletter. They are talking about a key for a free mount from a 3rd party website, but thanks for trying.

Regardless of the intended server I was still duped into trading my email address for a code that doesn't work as advertised. Not worried who dropped the ball as long as its fixed and the people who got keys in exchange for their personal info are given what was promised I didn't see anywhere where it clearly stated it was an EU server promotion only. Remember these are imaginary items. My email was real and the company that now has my email info is real. :confused:

Agreed, bumping this one waited til after Christmas to check back on this one and still no answer. Still need to know what to do about this one. :(

Ya don't think NA & EU share the same keys...

I do have an EU account only coz most of my fun cousins near my age (lol not my fault the ones here in the States r uhh not ones I'd associate with rofl) live in Europe... before I redeem key in item shop, anyone know what kind of warhorse mount that is? Is it permanent or temporary, & if it's Temporary, is it in a bag? If it's temporary outside of a bag, I'll hold onto it instead of redeeming it in the shop for now.
