It so easy to choose

Just go OSHA server and send a whisper to Burntbottom or Leogolas for a guild invite. We will help you in ways we can. :) see you in guild chat.

Here might be more of the answer that you are looking for: Do you prefer to play the game in peace and quiet without fear of someone backstabbing you every few minutes, or do you like to just go around killing other players? Answer that question truthfully and then choose either a PVE server where PvP is optional, or choose a PvP server where you ahve to constantly be looking over yur shoulder.

Either Artemis or Govinda.
Artemis has a larger amount of people.
Govinda has the best guild.. out of all of the servers -.-

go artemis since it has more people, i feel like most areas are already ghost towns in arthemis except some popular spots and instances, so last thing you want is a server with even less people

Server,

There is no good answer about what server to pick. Do you like PvP or PvE?
Not all Guilds are created equal and you need to interrogate each Guild your interested in. A bad Guild can ruin the game.
You have some Guilds that are END Game only. They miss the story line and skip areas just to be level 70.
And now they are bored. I see on all servers and their world chats complaining that some players are bored. The reason? All are end game players. They Power Leveled. That leaves them nothing to do. This game has story line and many, many side games.
Find a Guild that is half way, some low level players so you aren't the only one and some high enough to help you on some* quests.
Then look at the age group you seek. Maybe play solo until you decide on what you like in game play, watch the World chat and then decide.
Palenque server is vastly Spanish with a mix of everywhere else. You can meet some very nice players that have unique views on the game and the world.
Don't play the game just to beat it but play to work all of the quests and side games and then you may just have great game play. Most of the players, young and old have no clue of all the secret or side games and challenges that this game offers.:) You will make some good friends and some not so good. It is all up to you.

Hmmmm that is a pretty broad statement by mod. Although there may be some players in end game guilds that are power leveled, skip story lines, etc., but really this is the only reason why people are bored? Great way to start a newbie thinking about end game guilds.

+1 for mod posts

This is a VERY BAD statement and as a moderator you of all people should not be making these VERY INCORRECT assumptions.

You ever stop to think that some end game players have played sooo much that they have actually done just about everything in the game? I am in an end game guild and have played with a lot of end game players who have made it their goal to accomplish everything in the game. I mean every title, every quest, every monster card, everything. At some point even if you have done every quest and leveled a toon to 70 on multiple sides without power leveling it is still possible to get bored.

C'mon don't assume just because people are end game and also bored that they power leveled or skipped content. At some point it just gets repeatitive and boring for some people.

Also, come to Reni server. We don't have ghost towns. (Unless you like that sort of thing. Then we have TONS!)

I try to give the person a broad view and to cover the issues. if that is what the person wants (End Game) then no mater what is said to them it will happen anyway. This way, they will know what they seek is there in the game.

There is always exceptions to the rule. I have been here since Beta and see all types of players.
You are one of 10% of those playing so why take it personal?

BECAUSE YOU ARE A MODERATOR. Honestly, coming from a player I would voice that I disagree with their opinion. Because all you have said is simple that. An opinion. That is your view of end game. I would say maybe more like 50% but also just my opinion.

My problem with your post is that as a moderator your opinion is often taken more as fact, especially, by newer players. I don't personally think that as a moderator you should be allowed to voice such broad generalizations about the player base.

+1. I know quite a few who've done it all. Quests? Done them all. Crafting? Done it all. Titles? Have them all (more or less, but you can't farm siege badges all day). Instances? Have run them all. Seriously, that's not always the case, but it's much closer to the truth than, "[Endgamers] miss the story line and skip areas just to be level 70."

Govinda , of course!

Above all, you should find people you can relate to and have fun with. That is what will make or break the game for you.

I also think the moderator has a sour opinion of an end game only guild.
My end game guild...

1. ....is not bored, we have plenty to do and we run stuff all the time...Sardo/Grafu and some Tosh runs.
2. ....helps our newer end game players get geared up...and to siege!
3. ....does quests to level up, and for content as well.

hmmm

Lets stop and think for a minute .... get quest ... go kill 10 xyz mobs and bring me their pelts. Terribly Exciting ! If that were the game I think 99% of my guild would not be playing. Leveling is a means to an end / a way to learn your class mechanics. The game begins @ level cap.

There is no game but end game that is the only challenge. Wana PVP ... hit me with your blue quest bow and ill hit you with my +16 T10 Massacre and lets see who wins....

Do not be misled there are two types of guilds in RoM end game guilds and guilds that want to be endgame but cant.

Progression is the game.

Get with a good guild / level cap / progress - Siege with your guild etc.

The only reason many people still play is the challenge of endgame/siege and the friendships you develop with your guildies as you strive to progress then succeed. Guilds that don't progress have huge turnover - few long time members - little camaraderie - in other words they fail.
