depends on what kind of merge darkmotion, if its pair pet merge than i say yes, regular = no,
i bought the 98 apt blue rune egg i was talking about, me and this other guy were bidding till last minute but i still won cuz i knew the time frame when 12hrs left jumped to 1 hr left so i knew that when i needed to make last bid to win, well i got it for 1.5m and now reselling for bid at 3 i think and buyout at 7m. but once again other 98+ eggs are priced at 7m+ so i think someone desparate for my pet can buyout it but i doubt. 1 day has passed no bids are happening

Well, of course I got overly excited and asked for an INSANE amount. I did NOT even get a bid for 1 million. Needless to say no nutcase (or fan) bought the item at 20 million (sometimes a crazy fan will just buy the item because of the board publicity (and making me go nuts). This is designed to bork the mathematics). Some Trolls like to play. ;-)

The auction still has 5 more hours to go, but I will appeal to you, the community, to decide what would be a fair starting and buyout price for when this auction goes to round 2 !

Thanks to all the folks for the tips on pets, you guys are such a lovely helping community. I bet you guys have lots of Phish. :-)

EDIT : Forgot to ask a question : Are you obligated to pay 19 diamonds for each pet merge ?

Fair price for pet egg depends on server and egg quality. 90 level is not as good as 99, and will not get someone's pet to required 100 as well as some other eggs.

Also each server can have different price range for different eggs. Depends on server population as well.

Main thing is to use advanced auction house (AAH) add-on, and then check history on pets.

Merges (normal one) do not cost anything, but you can do only 3 merges per pet. It's possible to do chain merge, where you add new pet, merge existing one with that, then add new pet and merge again... and so on... This way you add required training point to your main pet. (should probably mention that all pets should be the same element)

Sometimes people buy crazy staff, but that might lead into problems if someone sees that as gold buying... (1 link rune for 20 M gold )

BTW, reason I asked about mount, I have seen DIAS on your account, and usually everyone first gets permanent mount...

hey took me long time to find it, well i found the thread u were talking about barbrady, i think its that thread and i recalculated my pet using formula the person gave, it comes out that if i level my pet to lets say lvl 70 using my lvl 17 one after i get it to 100apt i end up with around 206 dex, and if i take a lvl 1 pet get it to 100 apt as soon as possible and then level it to 70 i will end up with bit around 216.2.

so like i lose around 10.2 value points, too bad i dk how multiplier works so cant tell how much i lose in assistance points (around 50?) ugh thats messed up...


points are for dark pet dexterity value

K, not sure what math you did here but those numbers are off. I actually believe it's about double what I had previously. Even without chain-merging the dex on my old pet was much, much higher than 216, and he was nowhere near level 70.

and no u cant take the pet out after you merge it, only release it which deletes it and you will never see it again

Either you have wrong elements or you have wrong level pets.

You can merge only lower level pet onto higher level pet. It does not cost anything to merge and it's limited to 3 merges per pet.

You can merge rune pets into any element, but you can't use other pet elements and merge it to rune pet egg. Only rune pet eggs can be merged with rune pet eggs.
