I can't play, help.

Hiii , I apologize for my ignorance as I am new to this:
just download runes of magic, then it starts but I get to give click on the button to start the game, then down comes a bar upgrade, but when 70% is on restarts and updated, I hope I can help.

Hi!
Glad to see you joining thr RoM Group.
After the "Initial" install, there will be several more updates that need to be loaded.
This will take awhile. Taking a vacation is not required while you wait but reading the forums will gain you some good insite, pro and con.
After all has been updated, it will run.

Problems Downloading Game

I'm trying to download the game onto a new computer and it is taking hours! I was able to easily download the program and it seemed to install ok on the computer but when I click on the icon to launch the game it looks like it's downloading/updating the game but it only gets to around 19% download and 39% update and it's counting down the KB/s at a snails pace. Should it really be taking this long? I first tried to download the full program, but as I said it was literally taking hours and then I uninstalled and downloaded the slim version in the hopes that it would not take as long but it is still literally taking hours. I've been trying to download the game around 8 hours today. What's going on? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried to install the Lite version?
The download on regular can take hours.

Thanks for your help, the download bar is at 100%, but comes in 26kb and this fall, the bar to update this in 100%, I think l only have to wait.

I am currently trying to download the slim version and I've been downloading for several hours. The download bar is still at 19% and the update bar is still at 39%. The download bar shows I have 4.87 KB/s to go, which would seem like i am almost done, but it is taking approx 27 seconds per KB/s to download which would mean that i still have another 4 hours to go before it's done?? This can't be right.

the same problem i have, i don't know what happen, i try to get a fix, but i dont know what else do. :mad:

It is although you can go deeper into the forums and find direct links which may be faster for you. I have4 MBPs dl and it takes 4 to 6 hours

It's now 10:20 AM EST and I'm still trying to download the game. Yesterday about 12 hours ago I had about 4.86 KB/s left to go and now I still have 1.17 KB/s to go and it's taking about 5 minutes for each KB to download. Something definitely seems to be wrong. I have no idea if the game is actually downloading or if it's just stuck and nothing is really happening. It shouldn't be this hard to download the game :(

Time

Trust me when I say it will take hours.
The developers are working on a speedier download.
There is one possible way to increase the speed.
Unplug your Modem & Router for 30 seconds and let it secure the IP again.
This may refresh it and also call your ISP and ask them to PING the Modem and refresh it from their end.
There are no guarentees, but often it will help.:D
Please keep me posted on your progress.
And keep 20% of your HDD free and clear.
