So I got to Level 55...

...now what? I honestly don't know how people can even have the time necessary to get one toon to Level 70, let alone multiple ones, and I'm having mini panic attacks at just Level 55. A guild member I talked to had recommended I quest in (whatever zone Dalanis is in; can't remember the name) and I did, but after doing almost 12+ quests, I've barely gone up a single bar of exp. It's a nightmare at how slow it is. Even doing 266k exp dailies doesn't even help anymore. I'm thinking of waiting until I have some more spending money and just buying a heap of diamonds and using all of them to turn in a ton of daily quests in one sit-down so I can at least get up to a reasonable level. I know, it's a stupid and lazy and wasteful idea but I just don't have the patience to level up at this pace. Is there anything else I can do that is quicker or is this just going to be the gloomy, slow pace at which I'll have to endure otherwise?

Are you kidding me... I just did 60-70 in three days, 67-70 can be easily done in one, but let's say for the sake of it that it takes you a week. Is that really too long?

P.S.: No I don't use exp pots, diamonds, or any other kind of enhancements/helps whatsoever, just pure questing.

once you get to dalanis, you'll get a quest line that takes you through every zone up to the new one. that line alone almost carries your leveling. but dont spend money on leveling, once you do get to the level cap, spend it on gear

I have to agree with your friends. Questing is the fastest way to level your character. Do every possible quest in each area, only skipping those that you cannot solo. For the quests that you cannot solo wait until someone askes for a group in world chat or start one yourself. Usually there are a lot of players in the same predictament as you. Some people frown upon using exp and tp pots, but I did use them when lvling my main class ( I like to see new areas). The choice to use pots is yours alone.
Some other items you may think about using are these:
Big ANgels Sigh: Prevents all exp and tp death loss.
Pheonix potion: auto resurects you with full hp and tp (quite ahndy for fights that are difficult).
Tp and Exp amulets: although these do not directly effect you when you are playing, what they do is this: They store extra tp and exp until they get full (when equipped you will ahve bars under your picture with tp and exp on them). When tehya re full you click them and they turn into exp or tp orbs which you then can use for either your main class or your secondary class.
Now sometimes they have double exp and tp weekends, which help out a lot too.
Your main focus should eb upon doing as many quests as you can in each area then moving on to the next, maximizing your playtime. Dailies are nice but they do not get you to the areas you need to be in for maximum benifit.
One word of advice for you: find mobs that are at least a lvl or 2 above your current lvl and kill them. those mobs will give you the maximum exp per kill.

Strokk is a new recruit into my guild and we've been trying to help with runs... but we can also help with leveling. Any quest that you can't quite figure out what to do, please ask. I recently leveled an alt to 70, so I remember many of the quests; other guildies can help as well.

There are some quests that are trickier than others. It took me quite some time on my first toon to figure out what I was doing wrong with Dalanis vagrants. The Behemoth subline killed me couple times while I was figuring out what I did wrong. That caused delays as I worked off the debt at library. Aren line had wrinkles as well, so did Avano.

Having access to people who can help you when you are stuck can speed up the questing. Likewise, if you find yourself having problems with mobs, someone can come along to help with DPS or healing.

That said, dont just rush to endgame. Take the time to level, to gear and to enjoy the process. Endgame has its pleasures, sure, but so does the start and the middle. People tend to be too focused on arriving to the destination. RPGs and most other games are all about making progress and having fun while progress is being made. Well, once you reach the endgame, there is little progress to be had. That causes many endgamers to be bored and jaded. That is not exactly fun place to be.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Quest that gets you into Dalanis (Envoy of the Dragon) together with another one (Return the Glory) will take you into 3rd long line quests (Magic Reconstruction). I am working on that quest at the moment and gives me a little bit over 1% per turned in quest at level 68. There is also shorter quest in NJF.

I am doing small project of adding all XP quests in chains (and zones) and will probably take me a week or two to finish it, but just for your info, this is how much XP is in those 4 quests chains alone:

Envoy of the Dragon - 25,199,721
Return the Glory - 39,872,003
The Degenerated Elves - 9,964,825
Magic Reconstruction - 182,152,966

All 4 together totaling to 257,189,515 XP, that should take new 55 level toon to 63 without killing any mobs (some XP there) or doing any other quest along way. (there are millions XP in each zone as well)

Some quests are tricky in those lines, make sure you don't loos them along the way. Rustyx helped me, and I can help as well with some of quests. There is enough XP as long as you use library and not quest to pay death debts.

Also those lines are interesting and in some parts funny.... (don't be surprised if your toon cross-dress :D)
