Should I be concerned?

I was doing WA this afternoon, and when I had to leave, I left party and logged off before I was teleported out of the instance.

When I logged on a couple hours later, my toon was in front of the NoM entrance, half a world away from where I logged off.

Is this just a minor hiccup that happens when you log off inside an instance, or should I be concerned about someone hacking into my account?

I'm the only person in my house that plays online games, and none of my friends play this game either.

Sometime back there was a bug like this, logging out in one place and logging in someplace totally different.. If you're not missing gold/items/dias, I'd chalk it up to it just being a glitch, and submit a report. If you're the overly paranoid type (like me lol), you can change your PW.

Personaly I would change both my main and secondary passwords the minute this happened to me. Gotta be paranoid nowadays seeing as hackers are everywhere and stealing sensitive data from everyone.

From my experience, it is simply a Glitch.
Were you at Nom any time prior?
If I remember from BF Games, the zones may be stacked and you fell through the cracks.
I will pass this up to our QA department asap.
This is a good question too.

I logged out in Southern Janost Forest once and logged in the next day right on the NoM portal, so I loaded inside it. That was pretty creepy. Changed my password after that. >.>

I'd guess it's a rare bug, since I don't know any hacker that would leave items and gold untouched and just move your character for giggles. Certainly alarming, though.

This has happened a few times to myself as well. Therefore I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.
That said, changing your passwords periodically, is not a bad idea anyways.

No, I have not been to NoM for at least several months. But I didn't lose anything that I could think of, so I guess it was just a bug.

One time I logged in after a couple of days, and came out in a valley somewhere in the mountains. I explored a while and couldn't find a way out so I recalled. Oddly, a few weeks later, I crashed out of siege and ended up in the same mountains looking down at that valley.

Both times my map showed me as being right on top of FA.

sleepgaming lol. i have not seen this one yet. that is strange. i have been disconected before and when i logged back on i was on diffrent class combo than when i dced, gear was swapped and skills rearanged on action bars.

Yesterday I had an alt get killed, and got moved to next zone's rez point. Hard to survive with alt without any gear in zone where all mobs are 6-7 levels higher. :D

Never had problem with loging at wrong place, tho.

NoM has an odd attraction for offline toons.

People are always going to sleep and waking up in NoM. Normally I think it is from their houses - but perhaps any instanced place can lead back to NoM for some reason.

In-joke or something odd about the instance IDs that can reset to NoM's? Difficult to tell either way as they are neither very appealing.

Certainly nothing to worry about though.

Yet another old bug. Goes back to at least september - november 2009. Last time I had it happen I had visited another players house from sjf then logged out.
