Accidently created my character as the wrong class

Hi everyone, I logged in and started creating my character. I wanted to be a mage, so I selected mage. Then, I couldn't really see what my physique looked like so I switched over to rogue so I could make him look the way I wanted. After I was done I hit create. Then before I hit the "confirm" button I noticed I was still a rogue; however, I couldn't do anything. What's the point of a confirm button if you HAVE to click it? Anyway, I promptly deleted the character and now I have 24 hours before I can remake him? Is there any way around this? Please help!

you should be able to make 6 characters on each server

I play with family and friends and I'm pretty attached to the name that I use! I guess I can make another character with a different name, but I was hoping there was another solution. Anyway, thank you for the response and your time.

That would be 8 on each server.

Unless you are set on a particular name, just create another one. If you are set on the name, just wait a day. Or pick another server, since you, as new player, have probably no attachment to the server you selected.

My family and friends all play on the server I tried to make my character on. We wanted to play tonight so I guess I have a decision. Either make a new character or tell them it will have to wait until tomorrow because I messed up my character! Ugh, okay ... bummer. Thank you all for the quick replies!

Don't forget, you can still be a mage.

Once you hit level 10, you can choose your Secondary Class and be a mage.

If you delete the character you already created and wait the 24-hours til it's truly deleted, you'll be able to recreate it and use the name you prefer.
