Hi im looking for the right server to play on and maybe someone here can help. Im what you'd call a mature player, in my 30's and I'm looking for a friendly and helpful PVE server that is active and helpful.

There are many PvE servers with people.
Most populated one I see (when I am online) is Artemis, but if you prefer less crowded and not overly populated you can check out Reni, Osha and Govinda, which I also play in.

Best to join a guild in my opinion, but calling for help in Zone chat does turn up responses most (not always) times too.
Im also looking for for the right start up class. Im looking for a good solo farming class that can aquire items for other characters I create. A fast killing class, I hear m/p is good or r/p but Im not sure.
I have quite a bit of experience playing games like this so getting used to any class will work for me but I want to make sure its a strong character that is well rounded for solo and team play.
There are good starter classes out there and M/P is one of them if you like ranged magic dps.
W/K is another easy starter class dealing with melee DPS and tanking.
Really up to you if you like more melee, more magic or in-between, and also if you like ranged or melee attacks.
M/P and W/K are very strong and easy solo class combos to start off with.
There are many others to try out once you start to get the feel of the game.
