I Think Im Screwed :(

Hello peoples i need some help i had abandoned a quest in the return the glory line called find the murderer(because i didnt read the npc's chat to find out were the meeting place was)i figured that i would just be able to reaccept it after i had abandoned it so i could complete it properly but this wasnt the case im no longer able to recive the quest and i was wondering if its bugged or somthing? and if it isnt a bug is there anyway i can reset the quest line? any assistance would be greatly appriaciated:D Help me rom community your my only hope :P

OK.... Here is the quest, a followup to infamous autopsy quest

Quest giver : midnight
Quest receiver: midnight

I would check where midnight is with NPC search and hope you can find him. This does not appear to involve the meeting near as I can see and instead involves finding the clothing in the northern part of Aren, at coords shown in runesdb page.

As Autopsy showed, GMs cant grant quest completion, so hope you can figure out how to get back to questline. Losing RTG line does indeed fit the definition of "I'm screwed", sorry to say.

Not sure if the GM's can reset the quest either for you. Looks like you ahve to talk to midnight again so best bet is to find him if possible.

Dang it I tryed searching him and had no luck and the only available quests that show up on my tfh map are daylies and the ones for tosh :( would it help if i were to submit a support ticket about it? I know they cant grant completion but if its a bug maybe theres some way for them to fix it?

Isn't midnight the guy in Dalanis that u have to talk to his assistant first to summon him?

Midnight can go missing, you would better to go physically search Aren and not just rely on World Search.

Midnight is Taborea's première hide and seek expert, Agnes schooled him in all he knows.

For some of them you had to do regular quests in zone first, to be able to complete epic one. When I could not figure (or remember) where Marrok or Toni were, I would first do all dailies quests, then use world search option, show available quests fro zone, mark all NPCs and then visit them.

If you find it, clothes are in house in 2 boxes behind the castle at 37.7 , 30.

Trying to get some of these quests is rahter hard. My friend has been all over the place and still cannot find where he lost the Toni/Morrick line. Support has been as helpful as they could be on this matter but even they are stumped. This is frustrating me to no end.
Does anyone know of an addon that will help you find quests that you haven't done?? Cause right now my friend is stuck in limbo and he hates it.

Advanced Quest Book will tell what quests you have done - aside from using what titles your friend has you can't really see what quests they have not done.

You can use the script,

/run DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(CheckQuest(XXXX))


and it will give you a 0 for undone, 1 in progress, 2 done if you have the questID from the database.

Get your friend to make a thread about his problem, Support cannot easily help with such issues, but if you ask everyone on the forums you have a better chance of finding someone that has the crucial piece of information.

CM/GM have no ability's to reset quests and for some people the Morrok line is totally broke. Frogsters will not help you on getting those quests done as I have learned from support the hard way. They will not even tell you if and when a quest is patched or fixed.

I will agree with you that they will not/can not reset a quest, but they will tell the general population when a line has been fixed in the patch notes.

Sorry for the late reply. The correct coordinates of Midnight should be: 38.1, 37.5.

If the NPC's are not located at this position or Midnight is gone, please contact Support and give me the TicketID (Reference Number) in PM, so we can have a further look at the Quests completed and not completed.

Have a similar problem with a different quest in the Aslan forest, except I went back to the quest giver and couldn't get it.

Woohoo I found him right were you said so it turns out he was in Aren and not Dalanis,I had been looking in the rong place all along lol. xD
